Not asking who you think is the best player on the team but most impressive relative to expectations.

For me it’s easily craig dandridge. To be as good as he has been as a true freshman is really impressive

It reminds me of what AD Mitchel did as a true freshman

Dandridge is an awesome freshman, but I was irritated at Bobo when we threw the screen pass to him on the one three and out. It looked awkward. That should've been Sacovie or Tayln Taylor's play. Dandridge is stiffer and has more straight line speed.

Also agree on Cole. His hands are strong as shite and he can really run.

Getting first round projections now.

Cole and Bolden are first round locks imo.

Can't single it to one. Of course Cole and Bolden as others have said. Robinson is the man. Besides Dandrige, Talyn Taylor, too.

The player that reminds Kirby of AD Mitchell is actually #86 Tre Shields.

But the player in my mind that has been the most impressive so far is Zykie Helton.

Out of all the linemen, he is the one they chose to play fullback on the goal line push plays.

I could just hear Larry Munson describe this freshman.

Based on expectations, Dandridge.

Because I didn't expect anything other than production against the vandys of the world.

Reddell based on 2026 potential. In a room of different looking tight ends, he is different with the pads on. Blocking. Receiving. He has a violence and athleticism that are going to create water cooler talk.

Dandridge is looking good.

I'll point out Nick Peal. He's quietly become the 3rd leading rusher among the RBs behind Frazier and Bowens and actually has a larger ypc than CB. He's got the body of a bodybuilder and had a pretty good burst on the few plays I remember seeing him run on. Reminds me alot of Chubb as a true freshman.

Stockton and Bowens. Although I have to say that I really like a team like this where there is no absolute spotlight player, like Texas' Manning. This team plays as an unselfish unit.

I meant Dandridge production reminds of ADs production as a true freshman.

If I was going to make a recent player comp he reminds me of it would be JackSaint prior to his leg injury against Florida which is still one of the worst injuries I’ve ever seen a UGA player take. Maybe only Chubs knee was worse.

Frazier appears to be a man on a mission. Anyone else getting some Moreno vibes from him?

His quick feet and cutting ability remind me more of Swift than Knowshon

Sacovie

He's another WR that has exceeded expectations. Looks like a totally different player this season. Was expecting a bigger dropoff from Branch's departure.

My first memory of AD Mitchell was all the pass interference calls that he earned.

He would have 1 catch. But he got 3 PI calls in the game. I hadn't seen a player so capable of drawing the yellow laundry like that.

Frazier is twitchy and bounces up off the ground like its lava the way Moreno did.

Yeah Sacovie is another 3 star player who we have turned into a solid player with the potential to be even better. Hes been great on special teams too.

We seem to have a pretty high hit rate with these kind of guys and have at least one pop up every season as a pretty key contributor. Ladd is obviously the best and biggest example of this.

Sacovie White-Helton. He's doing everything we were hoping for.

Mine is KJ Bolden he shows up during games and is a high character player with god given talents. I’m going to be interested to see how his NFL career goes.

Ellis Robinson- Last year he was fast enough to be in position to make a play on every ball, but seemed to panic when the ball was in the air and drew a lot of interference calls. This year he seems to have solved that problem, getting his head around, and is making plays on the ball instead of on the receiver and drawing flags. Also his tackling has improved immensely, probably due to putting on weight. He doesn't looks like the same undersized CB he looked in the past.
