Haven't seen it, but oddly enough, I came across it browsing the web just a couple of weeks ago. Sat down and read the premise on Wikipedia. Pretty creepy. Kinda interested now.

I remember when science fiction used to be shocking, but just look at the headlines from this week alone.....

-a baby was born in a lab in Denmark with 3 biological parents.
-the emperor of America incorporated actually gave a speech out in open about need to cede U.S. soverignty over to a world government.
-somewhere in a Target store a dude in lipstick exercised his "right" to grunt out a steaming deuce in the ladies room
-a corpse was injected with some kind booster steroid and propped up with invisible wires in a presidential debate where she admonished all white Americans as racists
-feral animals looting and terrorizing Charlotte are called "protestors" by the media
-not to mention that I'm communicating this to you on a piece of glass I keep in my pocket

Soylent green doesn't even really seem all that shocking anymore.

Old B movie I haven't seen in like 30 years. Over population has consequences.

I think not...

The world has lost all frames of quality as reference since the internet.

If that is in your front pants pocket I have been violated, I must now shout at the top of my lungs about some gibberish that would have landed me in the looney bin in the 1960's. As the old guy in the room, I have no idea what this is but feel sure a 20 year old with no life experiences will inform me.

They call it a phone. It's great. You rub your fingerprints on it all day talking Georgia football etc while it tracks your location and thoughts, preferences, etc so as to select the perfect FEMA camp to put you in. When the time comes.

Cheese grits, I just thought of something.. Soylent green is people. And we put fermented prehistoric plants and animals and bacteria that lived millions of years ago I nto our gas tanks to get to the store and to get to the polls to vote for Trump.

Which sounds weird. But, what if we maybe we're just space ship fuel for future earthlings a million years from now? That's all we are. Rocket fuel for ...

For what? And where will they combust our remains to get to? This is so fricked up, man

I've seen it about 6 times and read the book it was based on entitled More Room, More Room.

The movie was better than the book.

It's funny how you lament Clinton calling all white Americans racist (which she did not do) then 2 lines down call black protestors "animals" (which is racist).

Did you see the video clip of the activists that were protesting the cash register that they had pulled out on to the sidewalk after smashing the store window?

If not, go find a pack of wild mangy dogs and throw a ribeye into the middle of them...That's exactly what it looked like once they protested hard enough to get the cash register open. Clawing and climbing over one another and fighting over the cash.

Martin Luther King would have been so proud!
