I vote DFW. It makes Hartsfield look like a well oiled machine, which is really hard to do. I hate that stupid skylink thing that stops a thousand times because some arse hat decided to arrange the airport in a series of semi circles. Not to mention they don't sell coke products anywhere in the terminal. Also, I hate sitting on the Tarmac for no reason other than American Airlines sucks arse.

New Orleans airport is the most disgusting, though.

Believe it or not, longest wait I've ever had was in Dublin Ireland.

O'Hare...for such a busy airport the terminals and gates are like a third world bus stop.

LaGuardia..if your changing airlines you have to leave the terminal, catch a bus and then go back through security. Or at least I did taking a Canadaair connection to Toronto.

PHI or Ohare.

Best is KCI, and one of the terminals and some bars still allow smoking at Hartsfield so I like it alright.

In terms of dependability..CDG. Friggin French unions randomly deciding to just stop working in the middle of the day. Plus the place is just damn confusing.

For the US, Newark...hands down.

Cincinnati or Detroit, imo. I'd give Denver the best overall I've flown in.

I was very impressed with Denver. Last year I was running late for a flight, and came upon their massive screening station. I thought for sure I was going to have to reschedule, but I got through with time to spare. It was the most efficient mass station I've gone through.

Dallas was really good 3 of my 4 times through there in the past year. The rail going around the airport is efficient and the only bad experience I had there was a delayed takeoff for an equipment safety inspection. Portland also gets an honorable mention for being a good airport.

Detroit was awful, and I thought it actually smelled bad inside the terminal.

My worst global experience was at De Gaulle in Paris. I watched 2 movies on the plane before even getting on the runway to be de-iced.

Best is KCI,

I don't fly often, but I wasn't impressed with KCI.

It was rinky dink and to me seemed disorganized (they didn't have a line for security. just a mass of bodies that funneled through the checkpoint).

My baggage took forever. That's not uncommon. But for as tiny as the airport is (compared to other tiny airports), it seemed apathetic to the flyers.

JFK hands down. Went through there twice going to and from Italy. BOTH times had a 2 hour flight delay, and had to sit against a wall because of all the construction in the terminal. Was told later that huge delays are the norm there.

Shanghai's airport was classy as hell. Beijing's sucked because it wasn't air conditioned at all. Not fun when you're waiting for 25 people to get all of their baggage and meet someone to take you to your hotel.

The Cinnci terminals gave off the vibe of a Cordele indigent care lobby.

I landed in a blizzard and lived to tell about it.

Also, even though I couldn't smoke in there, I found the security lines to be empty. I came and went through security probably 10 times to go out and smoke when I was departing. Never a problem, never a line.

That's absolutely a plus.
I've never worked for an airport, but you might owe your appreciation more to the pilot and less to the airport.

Zero security lines is awesome.
It was like herding cattle when I was there (a-holes were literally mooing as we shuffled through).

Oooh...I remembered.

DFW (American) did put my bag on the wrong carousel.

The staff didn't notice, I had to go back to the other carousel with other people looking for their shite, some of them already in line to file a claim, and tell them about the frickup. shite staff. But that's AA, not DFW necessarily.

JFK is the worst in US.

CDG is the worst in Europe.

Detriot is not that bad actually... Since Delta merged with NWA.

PHL and EWR are close as far as shittyness, but JFK is such a clusterfrick ,,it must win.
