I think it is racist for people to say that having a photo ID is a disadvantage for African Americans. It is a presentation of low expectations for minorities. It is dispicable and disgusting to me.

The numbers point to Hillary at this point. That may change, but I don't think it's going to. She sucks, and any decent Republican candidate would smoke her. Unfortunately we nominated Trump, and he's going to get smoked.

I agree. I thing we'd be way better off if Trump were to win for a number of different reasons. I just don't think he has the mettle to pull it off.
At least republican voters are capable of bucking the establishment and have proven to do so a number of times. Demi's would vote for Bernie Madoff if he was their nominee. Hillary is the most corrupt politician ever and is totally inept...yet they'll line up behind her.

I'm a white guy and I just spent 4 months trying to track down info just so I can get my driver's license renewed.
Voter ID laws were clearly passed with racist intent, as courts in North Carolina recently ruled.
It is just harder for poor people to pay for and obtain documents.
I had a hard time and I'm not even poor.
Some people simply are disadvantaged whether you accept that or not.

I wouldn't say it's necessarily malicious ie racist. Politics is a game. And if you can shrink the margins of voting demographics in certain areas, you do it. Voter ID laws are just an easy way to do that. Plus, it's not like there aren't millions of poor whites in the Appalachians that have ID's. More than just minorities would be affected by those laws, it's just part of the game.

You don't have to pay a red cent to get a state-issued ID card. This is literally the only time I haven't seen the poooooooor line up for something to be given to them that they don't have to pay for.
How exactly is it raaaaaaaacist to require that someone prove that they're registered to vote, and that they are truly who they say they are, when they go to the polls? The inverse of that argument, of course, is that the only reason Democrats fight voter ID laws is that they rely on some level of voter fraud, illegals at the polls, etc. to keep their folks in office. Explain otherwise.

We've talked about it a good bit in this thread.
While the intention isn't inherently malicious or racist, there are studies that suggest and common sense would too, that requiring a voter ID card would disenfranchise a minority subset of the potential voting population.
Conservatives want voter ID laws for common sense reasons. Dems don't want them because they lose potential voting blocks. That's pretty much it.
Samson suffers from white guilt so he likes to scream racism at anything and everything without taking the time to actually look at facts and logic.
