Curious to know how fast someone needs to be to win those races at Braves games.

This is true. Seen a lot of dudes eat dirt in the final stretch.

I wonder if you sandbag the first portion, and let the Freeze underestimate your real speed, if you could then turn your own "jets" on late and try to steal a win.

You save energy on the front end, and can maybe catch him off guard. Obviously that dude is insanely fast and could dust anyone he wants to, but no way he's always going 100%. He's got to be gauging his competition and then letting that dictate his pace.

He's insanely fast and has insane stamina. To be able to sprint the way he does for that long and not break stride is pretty impressive.

It's 175 yards from foul pole to foul pole.

I mean the actual guy was a scholarship track athlete I’d assume in the 200m or 400m.

You get a massive head start...that dude is going full the entire time...he lets up when he knows hes going to win. If you started off slow, he would just catch up to you and make it look close for a bit....then dust you anyways.

Best bet is to take it steady. I think hes lost quite a few races over the years. Rare, but beatable

I know to reject the offer if they ever ask me to race at a game

I make Jacob Eason look like Usain Bolt

I would 100% end up on SportsCenter's not top 10 plays of the week if I raced that guy.

He just smoked that dude tonight. He caught him in right center.

Some bigger guy beat him during the last homestand. I was at the game. The guy started at a slower speed then turned on the jets in center field. Saved his energy for the home stretch.

I ran the 200m in high school for one year. It's friggin hard. You sprint the whole way. I lost far more than I won and didn't enjoy it so I decided it wasn't for me.
