Once again Jeff....do you have children and are they home schooled?

Why do I have to answer a census questionnaire to participate? Do your kids want you on a gimp sports board full of nut bags talking about their personal shite?

Some people do and that’s fine, but I’m not into that

True. Both of my parents lived in fear of the politicians taking money from the pension fund. They’re in their 70’s now so they’re safe. This will be a big problem in the next 15 years.

Most of my friends that are teachers are Democrats and I tell them they better be careful about how much social welfare they tolerate.....because when the money runs out the 55 yr old white retired teacher looking for his pension isn’t going to be at the front of the line.

Yeah, because that's a comparable argument.

I’ll bite my tongue and not comment on how a teacher can’t see the argument. Wow.

Cliff notes:
-it costs the state tens of thousands
-to do what individuals can do for pennies

-this is a humiliating commentary on the public “free” school system.

-most college degrees arent even worth $10 grand a year.

-SIYG’e rule #1: everything the state touches turns to shite.

Point is..... 10k per year isn’t exorbitant per pup

If we’re talking medical school maybe. Otherwise you’ve lost your mind.

We haven’t even added in the expenses of the federal Departments involved yet

That’s still way too high.

Still though, $18k per year to earn a highly technical and useful skill giving you capability for a lifetime career and support a family.....vs......$10k per year for nothing and being able to float through with reading and math skills of a 6th grade homeschooler.

Why is this even an argument ?. Our education system is a perverted abomination. A total failure.

Do you turn the electricity off at your house during the day? Do you feel it’s the governments job to feed your kids?

What about the chance for participation in band, sports, arts, etc?

Homeschoolers can still participate in these things. On that topic though, what about the other things homeschoolers miss out on at public school.....like drugs, violence, commie indoctrination, and having the anchor of the lowest common denominator morons shackled to their ankle?

Does this include the lost income of the parent providing this service?

Most of it can be done online. Regardless, as crazy as it sounds to you, some parents actually want to be involved in their kids education instead of handing them over to DMV and post office workers to do it.

And if people didn’t tolerate the state and all of its obscene destruction , you wouldn’t have a situation where both parents have to work full time to support a family. One of them could stay home. As it should be.

You know, I was respectful to you in my questions..why you gotta be such a cocksucker in your responses?

The opening story about discipline is why my sister is leaving her elementary school class and my department chair is leaving.

That's a lot of words to just say, "No", or even "I have no idea what I'm talking about."

I see a lot of people calling me a cocksucker and saying I don’t know what I’m talking about.

What I don’t see though, is anyone refuting any of the facts or opinions I’ve stated.

Welcome to public school educated America....where if someone presents facts that make you uncomfortable, you just call them a name and insult them and then have the nerve to think you just participated in a debate.

I can see the argument. It's just weak and not worth it. I'm cool with completely cutting funding for public education and letting parents get a $500 voucher to teach their children. I had a successful job in the "real world" before. I can do it again.

Why would they need a voucher?

Without the public education shitshoe, there’d be no taxes to pay for it. Families would have a lot more than $500 in their pockets to pay for a better alternative.

Believe whatever you want. Just don’t ever mention that the state and federal governments pay about $25K per student per year in this country on something that can be done better for only around $500 dollars at home.

I was very measured and polite in my response to you. Wipe the tears off your face and please address something specific I said that was cocksuckerish (except for this sentence) instead of crying about something that didn’t happen. Thanks.

I have scoured looking for stats and it's hard to find many.

I'll admit though that evidence shows that the average ACT score is about a point and a half higher or so among home schooled kids.

LINK

However an ACT score of 22.5 doesn't put you in some uber-level percentile on the ACT. Also this score should take into account that probably somewhere around 10,000 home schooled students took the test as opposed to 1.9M or so.

There are kids in public schools taking the ACT that quite frankly.....shouldn't be taking the ACT. But public schools TEND to push the myth that EVERYONE should go to college which I wholeheartedly disagree with.

Yes stating that I'd find it surprising that "some people want to be involved in their child's education" is both measured and polite.

Like you said, plenty of people find you to be a flaming a-hole/cocksucker...that' your issue, not theirs. Don't respond, I won't read or care.
