I'm bored and figure hell, why not? What are the top 3 or so games you have seen the Bulldogs play in? For any reasons spanning from how good the game was, what it meant it for program/season, or even if that game reminds you of bending over that sloot after the game in the bushes behind her sorority house.

Obviously there are a good many of us 20 somethings and apparently friggin teenagers but I look forward to some of our seasoned dawgs fans telling takes of the '84 cotton bowl or maybe someone lucky enough to be on Bourbon St after Georgia took down ND.

Anyway, my favorite three Georgia games I have been to:

1) 2013 LSU: Last semester in Athens and after the emotional roller coaster that was Clemson and South Carolina the LSU game provided the rubber match in determining Georgia's mettle (at least we thought so at the time). Not only was it one of the most exciting games I have ever seen between any teams, with a litany of big plays from both team's stars, it was one of the best environments I have ever been in. The Georgia Red Out was in full force and I was damned proud of the crowd that day. My ears drums about burst after Floyd took that punk Mett to the ground. It was a great game and helluva night out after. This game is my #1 because at the time I finally saw Georgia beat a big time program when they needed to beat them most at home. I hate LSU (mainly from this board but also because I rarely have good experiences with their fans) and I may or may not have gotten misty after this win but I blame the wild turkey for that.

2) 2007 Auburn Blackout: Figured most people would put this as their #1 and I usually would but the LSU game meant more to me. However, I had been hoping all week Georgia would don the black jerseys and when the captains came out in red I remember being so damn bummed. Sure, I was a 17 yr old dork caring too much about jerseys but when they came out in black I absolutely lost my shite. The game was close for the first half but the second half it was great to watch Georgia steamroll the war tiger plainesmen and that crowd environment was as good as it gets in Sanford.

3) 2012 World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party: Man, this friggin game. This game I sprained my wrist punching one of the guard rails and almost saw my liver shut down. After the arse whipping in Columbia and the lackadasical shite UGA showed vs UK I fully expected Georgia to lose this game. IIRC I predicted it'd be 35-6 Florida. I was just being bitter ol' DGD and treated this weekend like a business trip. Go in to the game, get out, get drunk, forget. Rinse and repeat. But that didn't happen. Despite Murray's horrendous performance in the first half and Georgia's mostly anemic offense Todd Gurley, Rambo, and Jarvis Jones saved the day. And Jeff Driskel. That game was absolutely nuts and I don't think I remember one play more vividly (despite the foolish amounts of alcohol coursing through my veins) than Malcom Mitchell's 3rd down TD. The place erupted and for the rest of the game I felt like I was watching the end of Miracle. I kept watching the clock tick down and was hoping like hell they could hold on and then Jarvis Jones saved the day. Great game, great day, great weekend. Never have I been more surprised by a Georgia result.

Honorable mentions: 2009 @ Georgia Tech, 2004 vs LSU, 2005 @ Georgia Tech, 2011 Auburn

Good call, I need to add that to my honorable mention part. That 2010 game sucked donkey dick going to and my family had just betrayed our roots and became AU fans so after that game I was a prick to all of them and just about any Auburn fan I knew.

You were in Knoxvegas for that? That's awesome, how great were the Voluntears?

I remember being so surprised how hot that Georgia team came out that day. Pity they fricking blew vs UT the next week but for that week our vengeance vs LSU was amazing. And I still remember the crowd laughing in unison when Xavier Carter pulled this stunt.

I don't know that I've ever laughed like that at a sporting event since then. Poor guy. That's way worse than people cheering against you

Good thread, I'll even include a bonus category or two. This is my last few months in Athens and I've been here since '06. Bartended on Saturdays staring in 2010 and missed quite a few home games because of it. My favorite ones were:

(1) 2007 Blackout v. AU: Didn't make it to LSU in 2013, so I can't speak for the stadium atmosphere, but the only time the atmosphere around the campus/town has approached the week of the '07 Blackout was the '08 Blackout.

(2) 2008 Sugar Bowl v. Hawaii: Because blacking out the Super Dome and spending a few days in NOLA while making a legitimate claim for #1 overall was fun.

(3) 2008 @ LSU: Didn't even make it in the stadium. Had a ticket, had too good of a time tailgating, and watched it in a bar/restaurant (Walk Ons?) packed with LSU fans. If that doesn't count, then 2012 UF goes here.

Honorable Mentions/Most Underrated

(1) 2012 v. UF: Ugly, but a great one.

(2) 2006 v. Colorado (Joe Cox!)

(3) 2006 v. Georgia Tech (Matt Stafford!)

Three Worst Experiences

(1) 2007 v. South Carolina: I knew that loss was going to hurt us badly. I couldn't believe we lost to them, they were weak that year.

(2) 2007 @ UT: Never been so ridiculed in my life.

(3) 2008 Blackout v. Bama: This one would have hurt more if UF hadn't shellacked us later in the year.

Honorable Mentions: 2008 v. UF, 2006 v. Vandy, 2009 @ Oklahoma St., 2013 @ AU.

1. 2002 At Auburn. I thought we would never win an SEC East title. And we did it on enemy soil.

2. 1997 WLOCP. My first win at the WLOCP and my Soph. year in Athens. We were 3 touchdown dogs. I still have a piece of the temporary seating.

3. 1989 Gator Bowl. Dooley's last game. I was 10 years old at the time and I will never forget a raucus Georgia crowd volleying his name back and forth, one side "Vince" other side "Dooley" when he was accepting the Gator Bowl trophy.

Usually I'd be too stressed during a game to really enjoy that type of moment, but by that time in the game it was just so clear that we were going to win that I could really appreciate the humor associated with Carter's misfortune.

2012 SECCG almost makes it but the loss still stings. Blocked fg was probably the craziest I've gone at a game

Didn't enjoy a minute of that game. I was just too stressed like Crow said. It's part of my inherent negativity but when 'Tree ran that ball back everyone around me went nuts and was saying we had it won and then my friend gave me shite for showing no emotion. Deep down, though, I was convinced Georgia would need a 3 and out or a big stop next drive followed up with an offensive TD because I could just feel the dam breaking. And it did.

I don't think I am alone in doubting Georgia when playing a biggin like Alabama but I looked at the scoreboard and wished like hell that the game could just be over because sooner or later Georgia was gonna flinch. Amazing atmosphere, though.

You and Menlo have inspired me, I think I'll go ahead and make your top 3 worst experiences attending a Georgia game

I hate being a contrarian, but not sure how someone could call this game underrated in any way. If anything it's overrated. It was an awful, awful game that had no business turning out like it did.

1) 1997 UGA v. UF- Robert Edwards was unfricking stoppable! It was wonderful to watch in light of the recent butt kickings from the Gaytors, especially the half a hundred at Sanford.

2) 2002 UGA v. UA- The "Man Enough" game. It was awesome to beat Bama for the first time ever in Tuscaloosa.

3) 2012 UGA v. UF - Whole family went to the game, and we were throwing down! It was awesome!
