LSU fans are melting over Burton... Some over there really think Kirby told Burton to tell LSU if they move on from Jarret he'll stay with LSU but then flip to Georgia so they lose two top WRs

True, more talent at receiver is needed, but we haven't maximized the talent we have. Next season UGA will have more experienced bluechip receivers than LSU did this season. Even if Washington doesn't sign, there will be no excuses for a second year OC and a 4 year starter at QB. If he does sign and there are still issues people will have reason to be angry.
Also, Landers only started because of injury and suspensions. Even with that DRob, Blaylock, and Jackson could have easily been the starters, but the coaches chose to have Landers on the field.

I don’t know why this is still even a discussion.
Two things are undisputed:
1) Fromm regressed and played mostly awful this year
2) The WR position, outside of Cager and Pickens when he was actually playing, was awful
Ergo - a shitty passing game. Both were a problem. Neither get a pass.
