Smart has more talent to work with, so I think it’s an easy answer. We have that winning pedigree at the helm, it’s only a matter of time before it pays off.

Richt will do good things at Miami because they’re in the ACC. However, the program is stagnant and lacking the top shelf talent. He’ll recruit, but I don’t see him overcoming his in-game deficiencies.

Well Richt is going to get his chance to coach at Notre Dame Stadium next year. These are his ACC games:

Duke, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, Florida State
Georgia Tech, Virginia, Virginia Tech, NC State

Yep. Richt won't have top recruiting classes at Miami....FSU and FL will eat his lunch on recruiting.

Richt needs to go to a school that doesn't care if they win in exchange for his intangible qualities. Miami doesn't come to mind....

No shortage of talent there and their QB is better than anything we have. They have three good receivers and one that could be great. Kirby may be more successful because of the defensive side of the ball and all our talent but Richt will put numbers up on offense there. Lots and lots of numbers.

I honestly don't know much about Miami's current roster but if the majority of their offense comes back they should win alot of games. They have a solid QB and the 2 running backs Walton and Yearby are very good and they had a stud wide reciever. The few games I watched of them they should have easily won but their defense was bad and they would stop running the ball even though the other team couldnt stop it.

Miami has more players in the nfl than Georgia does. There's no shortage of talent there.

I foresee Richt struggling to win games at the U as long as his priorities go unchanged. He'll produce good men, no doubt, but he'll also teach them how to accept a loss. That's why he's gone from here.

He's had trouble with his defenses at UGA. That could well be an issue at UM too. At least for a while. I think the same issues he had while HC at UGA will not just automatically go away...so...

He should be given no quarter...top 10 finish at the very MINIMUM within his first 2 years.SECC within the 1st four or he's gone. It's the standard that's been set and there can be NO compromise.

Just want you to be consistent...which you obviously won't be.

Damn, I was thinking he would have an easier time in the ACC but those teams say otherwise.

Question:

Why would you think this is the standard? Are you implying that had St. Mark the Cocksucker not accomplished this, then he would have been shown the door?

Richt overachieved ALL expectations, IMO, during his first five/six seasons. Richt's termination wasn't dependent upon those years. It was his 5-7 loss seasons and failures in later seasons that punched your God's ticket.

Take your divisive butthurt down the road with Richt.
