I will bet a coca cola that Miami will look very bland in at least 2 quarters of every game they play while Richt is there. That will end in the same results in the ACC that it does in the SEC East.
I wish him a lot of luck but I don't think he is man enough to turn around a train wreck like Miami....if they do start seeing some success the cretins will come crawling out of the word work to lead the student athletes astray....and Rich won't do a dammed thing about it.
That being said with his money I would rather live in South Florida than Athens....the fishing alone makes it a no brainer.

Huh?WTF are you talking about? No one had higher disciplinary standards than CMR.
How many guys did we take from other schools that were kicked out of other institutions?
Honey Badger at LSU failed at least NINE drug test before he was dismissed.
Urban Meyer ran a complete zoo down at UF with Harvin,Spikes,Rainey and Hernandez
And your trashing CMR's legacy as disciplinarian? What a freakin joke.

Played 5 top 25 teams in 14...far from gimmies.Jesus dude,it varies from year to year. Can you not comprehend the concept?
12-5=7

Hilarious...so either you're playing a top 25 team or the game is a "gimmie".Can you not comprehend the difference?

Take a chill pill man, I'm just fricking around. I thought it was funny the math added up. I've already said Richt had some great wins last year, it's just to bad the headscratchers outweighed those wins and cost us the east.
Louisville should not have been ranked though, they were garbage by years end, but Richt won that game in the fashion he should have.

You're the one changing the narrative of what is consistent and what the standard is. The standard isn't NC or bust (that ignores the dozen other arguments). Even if it were the standard as you claim your notion of "consistency" fails miserably. Mark Richt was at Georgia for 15 seasons with 0 championships. So, if your claim is true then consistency would be allowing the next many up 15 seasons to get it done.

Really? Two top 10's in the lasr fours years...we're supposed to be progressing, correct?
And when this season concludes it will likely be 4 unranked finishes in the last 7 years.

I wonder where all those Top 25 teams were ranked at year end? How many times has SCe been ranked top 10 preseason, and they predictably crash after schooling us with inferior talent.
You are a numbers guy. You grasped (somewhat) that 12-5=7 on the way to claiming that unranked opponents are not gimme games for CMR. In your passion to support him for whatever reason you actually stated that.he is a subpar coach. Crunch some more numbers and compare his average post season AP ranking with the average recruiting class ranking. While you are at it explain the 2008 performance.

Except St. Mark's defenders always insisted that it was the school, not Richt, that had the high disciplinary standards.

Since everybody said that a mediocre coach can win 10 games at UGA, I would hope it would be Smart. UGA has more talent, facilities...more everything than Miami.

And it couldn't be both, right? Are you denying the University had high expectations? And, would you say it was the first time a coach swept stuff under the rug? The University set many of the rules and Richt enforced them instead of hiding problems. It's not really all that difficult.

So, finishing 6th in the nation in the final AP poll is not contending? I would say Alabama is not contending either, then. They got beat by Ole Miss. And North Carolina isn't contending this year, either. They got beat by a worse SC team. Shall we go on? Let me see. Ohio State hasn't contended. Michigan State is not a contender.
South Carolina finished 9th ion the AP poll. They had a very good team. They finished 11-2. Believe it or not teams sometimes have bad games....and UGA had a bad game.

Aren't you one of them that was saying a mediocre coach could win 10 games at UGA? So, if Smart is a good coach how many games do YOU think he should win this year?

You DO know that South Carolina won 11 games three years in a row, right? It's not like we were playing the Georgia School for the Bind.

Hyperbole, unless you provide proof.
I know I've seen it said that of 7-8 wins. 10? Nah. Hyperbole.
Y'all are coming off in a bad light, Dawg's Life. Let it be.

We won't have a qb next year so it will be a repeat of this year

We have Ramsey. He will service, given reps and competent play-calling/protection. Lambert will not sniff the field.

U betcha. Used to say 7-4 every year when Donut was the new savior. That was right 2/3rds of the time. I earned a lot of "yer not a real fan" awards.......for being fricking right. That plus the "what about the bowl game" comeback......months before we knew who we might play.
