rewatching the game as I type this and Jake was putting on an accuracy clinic in the first half, that crossing pattern to Robertson was an amazing pass.
Was this after his terribly underthrown and almost intercepted deep pass to an open Robertson?

Djsbuckeye, would be a better name for you, and easier to express your love for their QB...

It’s impossible for some of you to admit that Fromm isn’t perfect and never misses an open wr downfield.

A deep pass with double coverage is thrown to a spot, the wrs job is to get there.
This is true. But was the WR in the right spot and the ball not?
Fromm is not very accurate hitting receivers in stride on long passes. Cager had to slow down and wait for the ball in that blown coverage TD. Had the DB stayed with him it would have been knocked away.

It’d be best practice to keep a player’s name off of the title of a thread. Especially if the purpose is to criticize. Not arguing with the criticism, just cringing a bit seeing his name in the title.

Alacowboy, Fromm is who he is, in 2017 we made one amazing catch after another. Swift had two one handers, Godwin stepped up, Mimms was money...
Tom Brady does not put every pass on the money either, but his players make plays.

I thought the hold was a poor call at best, he let him go and there was never a jersey tug. Thats just what blocking in space looks like
If a Florida player blocked like that and it wasn’t called, you’d absolutely be complaining it should have been a hold.

Nope. Not on a block like that.

I disagree. The entire block had landers hands outside the receivers shoulders. That will get called anytime a run is in that direction and the ref sees it.
Plus, landers gave a late shove in the back after releasing the DB. I honestly think that is what drew the attention of the ref. It wasnt needed and all it did was draw attention. Not much different if landers put his hands in the air afterwards as if to emphasize that he did something wrong.

It was pretty ticky tack. I would want the call but wouldn't expect it either.

UF had a far worse hold on one of Pitts long plays on the drive before the half were their wr had a handful of our players jersey, arms extended from behind impeding progress, ref staring at it, uncalled.

I was shocked that Jordan Davis didn't get a hold on his 1/2 sack. The blocker was riding his back halfway to the QB.
The times that the refs chose to swallow their whistles was crazy. Especially with the ticky tack nature of other calls (PI)

Yep, they let far worse go than Landers block on the Swift td. The red saw Swift brak freee and turned around and threw the flaf.

Now do the end zone camera for a better view.
Posted on 11/4/19 at 10:41 am to djsdawg
Endzone showed the same, left hand of not outstretched arm touches ball.

It shows a much better view. It’s often a thin line, but There is a difference between “touches the fingers of one hand” and “easily catchable”.

He got enough hand on it to cause the ball to stop and fall straight down and never laid out.
