Wonder if Jake just told Kirby he’s gone.

I find it hard to believe Kirby would take a walk on due to Jake leaving.

Likely a kid who wanted to go to UGA with the rest of Walton HS after not liking the Nevada experience and could do it for free with the HOPE. Win/Win

I'd say it's the opposite. If Jake was leaving, he'd want that roster spot for QB recruits and transfers.

Jake is staying. With a better OC Next season sets up even better for him, so he's one of the few kids for whom another year should actually make him money in the long run.

I have my doubts but hope springs eternal for the Dawg Nation.

According to the headline above Kirksey is a walk-on, so he won't affect the scholarship numbers.

Jake is sticking around. This is just extra depth for the scout team.

Dom Blaylock recruiting for us. Depth is never a bad thing.

Guarantees a new OC and that Fromm will stick around and doesn't even offer us any of what he's smoking. Friggin rude.

I wouldn’t read too much in. If he were a 4 or 5 star from a Power 5 I might think more of it. I doubt Jake’s made a decision this early.

I agree. But then again, if Fromm gets an opportunity, it would be hard to pass up - especially with the way so-called UGA fans talk about it - Jake can't do this, can't do that, blah blah blah. I mean really, why would he want to stay around and listen to more negativity?
