It’s not at all far fetched. His family is from Athens and comfortable here. He failed pretty wildly at Colorado State and I HIGHLY doubt he’d be offered another comparable gig. He’s also had health risks as of late. Finally, Bobo I think would have been fine staying but he never got the raise he wanted.

You’re embarrassing yourself lashing out and your takes are weak. Weird thing to get pissy about.

Why do people think Bobo would come back unless it's the head job?

You think someone else is going to hire Mike Bobo based on what he's done at CSU?

Do I want Bobo fired? No.

Do I want him back as OC in Athens? Hells yes.

So conflicted.

Get the old gang back together and dominate this bitch?

I'm ready to make Smart and Bobo co-head coaches and doing away with the coordinators.

Yep,he only set and broke records as our OC in '11 and '13

Bobo had Richt to assist and encourage him. Chaney and Coley had/have Smart to hold them back.

Are you shitting me? Really? You think Kirby...an alumni, and HC is holding anyone back? Chaney has been an journeyman his entire career. He is what he is....a patch, a holdover, a quick fix and that’s what he was. CKS didn’t have time to hunt the country to find a staff when he came...he was trying to hold on to Eason and a recruiting class. Then Fromm came in...then Fields....and Cheney left. CKS made the easy hire with what was supposed to be the least transition to work this offense...and it shouldn’t be hard for an OC to come in and look like God with this roster. However, Coley is exposed. This is the SEC and he isn’t capable...but bringing in a new OC means new calls, playbook, cadences, audibles and that’s not easy on short notice. This was supposed to be the year...a capable coach comes in and adapts and looks like a genius...not a dumbass. Bobo pissed me off but I think he would thrive with this roster. He’d come back and I would welcome him over Schottenhimer 2.0. Never thought I’d miss Cheney’s fat arse...

Georgia is running the offense Kirby Smart wants to run. If you don't think that offense is dictated to Coley from Smart then you haven't listened to Smart since 2017.

I get CKS wants to establish the run game...every SEC does. CKS wants the offense to be 50/50...impose your will on the run and it opens the pass and wears down opponents defense down. However, I’m not sold he’s finger prints are on the offense as much. The defense has been UGA’s backbone since CKS arrived minus 2016. Debate on. But I’m not convinced CKS is meddling with the offense like he is with the defense. Watch the game, CKS has CDL following him everywhere. Coley was given then keys to a Ferrari and is driving this offense like a Prius.

I guess Schottenheimer didn't get the same "encouragement" in 2015.

Sir Douglas Haig. He liked attacking right into the stoutest part of a defensive position, too. And he was
very successfulish at doing it. Ok, sure, he took all sorts of unnecessary casualties, but 60,000 dead for half a mile of ground is still a win.

Lethargic is a step up from comatose.

He could at least show our receivers how to shake DBs.

26-32 is not wildly successful. In fact, it's failure.

Doesn’t matter. They will call the plays Kirbs tells em to. That’s why Chaney left and the guy at Kentucky turned down the job.
