Richt did the same in 2000, he stayed with FSU thru the bowl game(they lost)...
One thing of note, CMR flipped Gerald Anderson & Fred Gibson plus one other(can't remember who)while doing double duty for UGA & FSU & CKS will certainly be looking to do the same...
Also I like the media play UGA will get for 30 days starting next Mon. after/if Bama wins...

Pretty much every single coach does what Kirby is doing.
I realize everyone is conditioned to hate every action by our administration, but the overreaction here is mind boggling.

Good Lord. People were freaking out because we didn't have a coach 30 mins after CMR was hacked and now that Kirby is coaching through the playoff they assume that means he won't be announced or hire a staff until the end of Jan.
You can bank that he will be announced on Sun or Monday and that he has ALREADY been in contact with the Eason camp! Kirby knows exactly who his OC will be. These uys who are up and comers plan this shite out years in advance and have a short list.
This is GOOOD news for us. Every single time Kirby is shown on national TV with the entire football world watching it will be mentioned that he is the future head coach of the Georgia Bulldogs. Free advertising!
