We have had Stafford, Moreno, and AJ Green on the same team with no hardware to show for it. Sucks we might not get Eason, but how can some of you UGA fans want to keep Richt just so you can get a few high schoolers who aren't proven at all at the collegiate level?

You're dreaming.... unless Pruitt's the guy he's gone. Get ready for a whole new staff.

Maybe Pruitt is the guy.

I've been expecting this for a while.
Bet Eason follows him there.

You thought you had mediocrity with CMR? We won't sniff a top 10 much less a top 25 ranking for a minimum of 3 years. We lose this class along with the shitstorm that was our 2013 class. Plus we lose the best DC since BVG...this will be a downhill spiral we haven't seen since Ray Goff.
It will depend on what they spend. If they grab some elite staffers and budget for a bunch, it could turn around fast. If they go the way they have gone, it will be as described...

The problem is McGarity may be making the hire. Be careful what you wish for UGA could just as easily become the next Alabama or the next South Carolina.

Pruitt will be gone too fellas. And we're keeping Schotty :(

If Smart is the hire, welcome to Tennessee territory, my friends. Be careful what you wish for. Remember, the UGA administration is still in place, and that has always been the governor on this program.

This may not be true.

Please just stop this.
Tennessee sucked when Cutcliff left, it had nothing to with Fulmer.
They made several terrible hires...I mean Dooley?
I guarandamntee that Kirby Smart would have never hired Brian Schottenheimer. Richt should have promoted Lily and avoided this mess.

My friend on the staff seems to think he still has a job... That's all he will say.

The state of GA is too rich for UGA not to do well. UGA also gets top prospects from surrounding states, so the talent again will always be here for UGA. Tenn on the other hand and S.C. as well, have far less talent that GA. UF is just like UGA in that the state is rich in talent and will always have talented guys on the team regardless of coach.

All week long I have heard that Kirby Smart is the man coming in to replace Richt. Will be interesting to see if that happens.

He has a job as the head of the Paul Oliver foundation this comes from one of my sources. I was told he will now head that organization for the University.

I hope this is true. I would like to see Richt at Georgia in some fashion the rest of his life.
