Have at it.  Yes.

Did not have to at all, moron. Btw these are not complete sentences dawg holly. Anyway, I'm done with your idiocy. My pitbull puppy has more sense than you.

I mean, that really doesn’t say that much at all.

Mason (1 season)
Lambert (1 season)
Bauta (1 game)
Eason (freshman season)

And you're going out on a limb saying Fromm is "one of" the best of that group. Brilliant.

Fromm is significantly better than Aaron Murray. Fromm is almost never wild or loose with the ball. True freshman Fromm was comfortable in the pocket and comfortable with the offense from day one. Murray wasn't nearly as comfortable as a freshman and he had a redshirt year under his belt.

I don't remember a QB more efficient and effective on 3rd downs and in the red zone than Fromm.

Maybe Greene? Shockley as a 5th year senior? Stafford at the tail end of the 2008 season?

Murray also had the worst Georgia team of the last 20 years around him, while Fromm had the best. Murray was thrown to the wolves and asked to throw the ball a ton while Fromm got to hand off to the best backfield in the country with a top 5 defense to back him up.

And let's not act like Fromm didn't have some derpy moments last year. There were some bad looking picks against Tennessee and Florida. We just don't remember them because we were dominating those games.

Fromm might have a better career than Murray, but he hasn't shown anything yet that's "significantly better" than Murray.

He looked at least equally as good as senior AM11 in his true Freshman year.

I’ve been reading this forum for a while and I’ve never saw where anyone said that. Can you be more specific about who made that claim?

whiznot thinks mason was a good qb and better than murray

He also thinks Murray was a turnover machine. But I can think back, when clowney was unblocked and caused a fumble on murray. Everything was not Murray's fault

Pretty sure in that link he to argue that Aaron Murray, the SEC's all time leader in every significant passing statistic, is the worst quarterback to ever start at Georgia.

Hot damn that's a new level of stupid. I love this site.

That's probably a stretch. But I remember how bad the running game was. We were calling QB sneaks on the goal line because we didn't trust the OL and tailbacks to get the job done. We havent done that since 2010 because of improvements at tailback.

Some?Whiznot is the only UGA poster saying it and he's
been doing it for years.

It's about as absurd as saying Mason was one of the worst QB's ever at UGA.

I kinda feel like Fromm is a bit like Mason with a lot more arm talent. Good early read with a quick release.

I feel like he's got the best of Murray and Mason's respective skill sets.

I feel like he's going to have a monster year because of getting the magical year 2 in the system with almost all of his major receiving targets and offensive linemen (including, most importantly, center) back.

Interested to see how much we let him loose.

I'm one of them. Mason had only one bad game and that was against GT where he threw the interception in OT. Mason was designated a game manager much like Fromm early last year. Had Mason started for 2 years he would be in the discussion as one of the best.
Mason's 2014 stats:
cmp:188 Att:277 Pct:67.9 Yds:2168 TD:21 Int:4 Rate:155.7

You think Mason was better than Murray? C'mon
,not even close.

Mason was very good at what he was asked to do in '14 but was no where near Murray as far as talent and arm
strength.
