I agree.
Daniels has the stronger arm but that's about it.
Daniels has been injured most of his time a UGA; we knew he would have to recover from major knee surgery when we recruited him.

Bennett has lots of experience and knows the playbook inside and out and has the mobility it takes to buy time to find open receivers if the primary and secondary receivers are covered.
Bennett has improved in his long pass accuracy when he has time to throw and our OL has been protecting him well.
Bennett is fast. In fact he is so fast that he is very capable of breaking off long runs when a play breaks down.
I have said this before and I will say it again: we should be recruiting dual-threat QB's like Bennett, roll them out with an option to run, pitch out, or pass.
Bennett's running ability is such that he could take off (at which point the defense will be forced to come up to contain him) and then stop and throw over the defense to trailing receivers like he did a couple of times yesterday on busted plays.
And when any dual-threat QB like Bennett can throw those medium range passes accurately on the run, your offense has a deadly darn near unstoppable combination.

This article has a few lines that highlight in my opinion the most important difference in the 2 QB’s:

In SEC games this season:

• Daniels is 9-of-9 passing on third downs for 118 yards and 9 (-of-9) conversions for first down.

• Bennett is 8-of-14 passing on third downs for 43 yards and 2 (-of 14) conversions for first downs.

Perhaps old data? On 3rd down:
Stet is 17/29 for 140 yards, with 4 Tds and 1 Int and 7 1st downs.

Also, he has gotten 5 first downs with his feet on 3rd down. He has 10 rushes total that gained us a 1st down.

Also, I’m seeing JT at 17-20 on 3rd down with 2TD and 1int. With a total of 12 1st downs.
JT has no rushes for positive yards.

Slow down and read and let things process. Read the names very slowly and see if they look off a bit.

I have seen some of his highlight reels and I like what I saw. He seems to have potential to be as good or better than Bennett once he learns our offense.
I just hope we can keep Moken but that is likely wishful thinking as I expect him to get a head coaching job by the end of his season.

Intentional or not, that’s next level work right there. Well done.

Until he dies, or Kirby finds someone better.

I like Bennett but if he has became our bench mark for measuring Q.B's in the future, we're fricked.

But the good news is, even if Beck is gone as rumored:

JT Daniels, 6-3, 211, JR [*****, #2 pro-style QB nationally]

Brock Vandagriff, 6-3, 205, FR [*****, #2 dual-threat QB nationally, finalist for 2020 National High School Quarterback of the Year, Prep Star All America]

Gunner Stockton, 6-1, 220, 2022 commit [high ****, Career: 12,746 passing yards, 4046 rushing yards, 166 passing TDs, 71 rushing TDs]

2023: Arch Manning? Dylan Lonergan? Nic Iamaleava? I have no idea but...

Bottom line, after Bennett, no QBs lacking pro potential will be in our pipeline.

Lets just make up stats shall we... Stet is 8-29 (27.5%)? throwing with 7 first downs. If you want to add runs 13 first down conversions on 34 plays (38%). Are you lying intentionally? I know, "you're a coward" no one took your bet and frankly no one cares what you think.

Real Facts

With that said, I love Stet and he is the starter until proven otherwise.

If I’m right on this, will you put “Cracker is still always right” on your tag line?

As long as Stetson is the guy when we face Alabama and Will Anderson I don't care who starts or who finishes.

Alabama is the only team that has a remote chance against this team of Dawgs. Stetson can handle Alabama.

Embarrassing isn't it?

I do the same things myself. I try never to accuse someone of lying or come at people too hard unless I have made sure by double checking many times, and I still make mistakes.

It happens. It's up to us to learn from our mistakes.

we've seen this show before haven't we?

18-40...3 INTs.

if we get into a game where he has to throw the ball more than 20-25 times, we could be in trouble. He hasn't thrown the ball over 21 times this season for a reason.

This Alabama isn’t the same team, and this Mailman isn’t the same QB.
