First, you just completely lied!!!

He threw 14 not 25.

And second he was rehabbing a should the first part of the season.

I’m just saying your not getting an upgrade with King.., and most of the complaints on SB is his height.., but it’s ok for King to be short.

I feel like we’re talking to Stetson’s dad

I’m sorry I didn’t have your dear son’s stat sheet in front of me and missed the number. My point remains. You look at your sweet doll baby running around on that field with those big bad men and he just doesn’t fit. I appreciate his efforts and dedication but it would be a crime against this defense to put Stetson at starting qb

So you just decided to make something up... and I don’t know the kid...

Not to mention I said I think Newman would be a good fit... if m just not sold on your nephew King!

I wonder about King’s durability in the SEC. I wonder how he’d do vs SEC teams. He did fine against OU but it’s not the same. I think the possibility of both his talent and the dimensions it would open for this offense are tantalizing. Imagine a kid that shifty with that strong of an army at the helm? Imagine the new narratives that could be created should he succeed. UGA isn’t some old school, man ball offense who couldn’t use Fields.

Or King could come and get hurt. King could be turnover prone. King could be limited by an inept offensive staff. All possibilities. However, his 3 years of CFB experience (not all are at QB) are just one of many factors that set him ahead of Bennett. Bennett lacks the experience, mirrors his size, and has worse numbers. What’s worse, every downside of King can be attributed to Bennett. But the upside isn’t the same between the two.

I like Bennett, he’s a fine back up. If he starts for Georgia we are in trouble. All of this said, I don’t think Bennett or King are the starter when it’s said and done. If Newman is missed then I think you see Costello under center. Feldman said we’re after BC’s Brown (and there I have more doubts).

Americus, my dawg, you gotta give me a hint. You know man, I’ve tried going clean. I promise I’ll get my life together. It’s been months of me main lining transfer QBs. Help out your boy.

Also, if you’re right I think that would give them time to enroll for Spring, right?

I like Newman's tape much better than Costello's who looks very very slow. Neither are world beaters though.

I’m not saying Newman wins a heisman but I did see a lot of awesome things. That dude throws a frickin awesome deep ball based on what I saw. Granted it was highlights, not tape, but in one season I saw Newman hit more deep balls on the money than Fromm in 3 years. I’m not even saying he’s better than Fromm but that part of the game would be.

He’s quick, not fast IMO, but there’s at least a threat for a scramble and not just “eating the sack”. I’d be thrilled to have him here.

Costello would be serviceable and I wouldn’t be hyped or disappointed. Rather him than what we have.

I really think a qb that would just keep it on the rpo or zone read or whatever every so often would improve the offense a good bit. There were so many times that even Fromm’s slow white arse could have gotten 10 and then slid there was so much space.

Last thing we need with all of the OL attrition is another statue in the pocket, especially one that has had multiple concussions.

They’re probably recruiting for 2021 as well. Newnan would be the middle ground between Brock and Caleb. Could recruit both. K.J. would not be good for recruiting Caleb.

Does Costello have 2 years of eligibility? Honestly him or Chase Brice having 2 years isn’t awful. I think you’d get attrition with a guy transferring but I don’t think Brock or Caleb would be afraid of beating out either

Well shite, so much for me being the grad transfer QB whisperer.

So that would leave the kid at BC? Or King or Brice but neither are even in the portal now . I really felt smart with my prediction too.

Wait, so he is saying it’s not Newman? “No soup for you” made me think it was Newman. Very disappointing if we have to settle for a transfer rather than get the best one

I want Newman. I'm gonna be massively underwhelmed if it's Brice
