I would imagine whomever was in that house besides them? Or if no one else was there, you raise a good question.

1. AA can have his pick of college coeds who are trying to throw themselves at him assuredly on the daily. And not only does he not need to rape anyone as he can get laid anytime he wants by a plethora of absurdly hot women, but if you’ve ever seen that dude give an interview, he’s as respectful, well spoken, sophisticated, and courteous as they come. While also coming across as a protector, especially when he speaks about his brother and family.

2. In the age of Brian Banks, Jussie Smollet, and Brett Kavanough, no freaking way can we simply “believe women” unless there is bonafide irrefutable proof. And in the absence of this proof, AA is innocent.

3. There are several reasons for her to lie. Is she white? Meaning is her family and friends going to freak out if they find out she had drunk sex with a black guy? Maybe they care about stuff like that? Does she have a boyfriend or fiancé and is this her excuse to try and save a relationship? Is she filing a civil suit for money against the school or bar?

I can think of way more reasons for her to lie than for why the hell AA would ever need to rape someone. AND, more than anything, youre fricking innocent until proven guilty in this country, damnit.

Now IF it turns out he is irrefutably guilty, then bury him under the jail and I pray she someday recovers and finds solace. But if it’s proven she’s lying, it should be her that gets buried under the jail.

Why do you want Adam Anderson to be guilty of this?

Brian Banks, the Duke lacrosse scandal, and that Rolling Stone article that completely fabricated a gang rape at UVA are three major events in my lifetime that were extremely eye opening.

This is my theory.

It sure sounds like he wants this to be true. It’s perplexing.

I agree with your sentiments whole heartedly. I also believe that your hypothesis is spot on. Also, I’m too damned old to tone down my manhood that some in the younger generation call toxic masculinity. My grandfather used to tell me “there’s a difference between men an women and thank God for it” it makes for an interesting dynamic.

Feel like this should be the response every time.

I thought the sentiment here was "let's not assume anything here until we know more." Guess I was wrong. Sad.

I think that is mostly the sentiment. It’s a shame on something like this we even have to doubt.

Well we say that but then turn around and start making assumptions around why the woman could be lying.

Seems like if we aren't making assumptions it should go both ways.

What sucks is the fake accusations, which happen, take away from the girls who truly were assaulted..so when shite like this happens, there is doubt in both directions

There was a whole big arse spectacle about a Supreme Court justice who had a family and kids and got shite brought up about shite that didn’t happen 40 years ago and a fake bitch took before Congress and lied in front of the whole country….so that’s why it’s not taken that seriously anymore because women can’t be believed anymore. Because of that. Also women are scandalous.

I just think dismissing it as if the person is automatically innocent is just as bad as acting like the person is already guilty.

The law says that a person is innocent until PROVEN guilty. So let's take the position that he is innocent and wait for all evidence to be collected and examined, then for the legal process to determine guilt or innocence.
If this attitude on sexual contact had prevailed when I was in high school and college I would have been in prison 20 or 30 times. I never had sex with an unconscious girl but a few times the girl was so drunk she couldn't unbutton or unzip her clothes. But they were all ready to go when we hit the bed.
