He’s just one of those kids that partied his arse off through school and came into a shitload of money. He’s 22 and will settle down. The right people will reach out and he’ll get some help. $100 says he’s back on the team this summer and starting next fall

He'd be out of chances if he wasn't a 1st Rd pick.

Honestly, it’s not that hard to get out of a rookie contract without a huge cap hit....just sayin

It is hard for a GM to admit he messed up his first round pick after one season. NFL GMs don't understand the meaning of the term sunk cost.

Sounds about right.
- Johnny Manziel and Todd Marinovich

(Let's hope things work out, but there are a lotta cautionary tales out there.)

ISaiah Wilson hasn’t been around the team since December. GM just made a public statement about him. Pretty sure he and everyone else knows that if IW doesn’t work our, that he fricked up. Also, GMs care more about cap and future than “being right.” The worst thing would be to try and keep him if he still fricks around....cap space, paying him AND looking foolish for keeping a known frick up

This is quite an optimistic outlook. I think he is done sadly.

Folks are begging to give him $100M. All he has to do is not be a total frick up for 5 years. Used to think it’s impossible to screw that up. Robert nkimdiche proved otherwise

Titans fan.

Jon Robinson is not one to frick around. He has no problem correcting his mistakes or dealing with players who refuse to get with the program.

Titans fans can't stand the kid, understandably. I don't recall any issues with him at UGA and Robinson has said that the guy they interviewed is not the IW that they're dealing with now.

Needs to pull his head out of his arse or he's going to blow one hell of an opportunity. I don't see him sticking in TEN...the OLine was shorthanded all season and his teammates and coaching staff couldn't count on him to contribute when needed.

I don't recall any issues with him at UGA either, so this is a bit strange. Well, maybe not. A kid suddenly has a lot of $, and he's living the high life. I know this is going to sound mean, but if he wants to be a jackass, ok by me.

Seems like he got to the NFL and that was mission accomplished. The real goal should always be to get the second contract, but some guys just don't have the impulse control to see ahead like that.

A lot of 22 year-olds don't have the kind of discipline that most pro athletes that age have developed. That's why it's often the supremely talented kids - those who haven't had to grind as much - that have these issues.

Wilson isn't good enough for them to overlook his immaturity. He needs some mentorship and good familyadvisors to help him get there.

I dont do the twitter...but looks like his twitter name is LayZay? FFS

Also, the comments in the first 15 mins since he tweeted are hilarious.

Didn't he just go on radio last night and didn't say anything about this?

If Isaiah Wilson quits on the Titans, as he has alluded to in his tweet, it would be the equivalent of someone saying “you can’t fire me, I quit!” Which is great if you’re an employer bc he has a $2.62 mil cap hit and you can recoup $4.47 million of his signing bonus.

I have a feeling the Isiah Wilson story will have a tragic ending. Seems like there are some deep deep problems going on there. Seems like it is more than general immaturity. Immature idiots will still show up to practice and play games.
