On Nov. 1, 2007, Virginia Tech traveled to play Georgia Tech at Bobby Dodd Stadium, but there was a problem— a few Hokies' jerseys went missing. Even though the teams were ACC rivals, the Yellow Jackets let the Hokies borrow a few white jerseys with handwritten name plates on the back.

According to a report by Savannah Morning News at the time of the incident, Virginia Tech flew in replacement jerseys on a private plane before kickoff. Chancellor and Flowers changed into the replacement jerseys during first half, but the team was unable to find replacements for Glennon and Taylor. Virginia Tech won the Jerseygate game 27-3.

It just further cements that 2007 was the greatest college football season in history.

This is their version of Bevo almost murdering Uga before the Sugar Bowl. A clear sign of what is coming, they just don't know it yet.
