He is spot on.

We may very well frick up and win the Natty despite ourselves but it has been a maddening season to say the least.

It is what it is. Coley was promoted rather on the cheap. He's making $950K as OC of a top tier national program. But Pittman is the highest paid OL coach in the country at $900K a year!

Alabama is paying Sarkisian $1.55M. Clemson has co-OC's making $1M each...plus separate coaches for OL, TEs, and QBs!

Also, hiring in-house makes Coley easier to control.

But maybe that's Smart's problem...his perceived need to control the offense. Considering how much money UGA has made, we can afford to pay the bucks for a top OC to make the most of elite level recruits.

Bill King?

The guy that used to be the AJC music critic?

I could find 4 guys at my local sports bar that have forgotten more about CFB than "Mr.Beatlemania"

Thank You, good to see there's sane people on this board. The entire national sports media are all saying the same thing about Georgia's offense.

It’s all part of the master plan.

Go all year without more than 1 slant a game, if that, then reintroduce it at the SECCG. LSU won’t know what hit em. We score more points in ATL than any other game while the D holds Burrow to his lowest output. And the headline reads The Beast in the East Awakes.

I haven't been on here much lately, so maybe I'm just confused, but are there seriously people who don't think our offense isn't where it needs to be to win the whole thing?

Our offense is good enough to beat teams we have more raw talent than but against a team with equal or better talent then it's dicey.

We had nine 3-and-outs on Saturday and a total of 2 yds in the 4th quarter. Are there seriously people on this board who think that's good enough to win a natty?

My largest frustration when the offense goes cold it our lack of attacking between the hashes with the passing game and not attacking outside the hash with the running game.

I don't agree with everything he said, but I have noticed the odd pass routes on 3rd and short/medium. Sometimes it looks like we have all but one receiver running deeper decoy routes and Fromm only has one real option. Unfortunately we can't reliably depend on a single receiver to get open and get YAC.

That's precisely what I'm asking. We look stuck in the mud for 90% of every offensive snap.

We've been vulnerable to blitzes on 3rd down. It rushes the throw and we arent finding the correct target or arent picking up the blitz to give receivers an opportunity to complete a move.

Due to our predictability, imo. When you're rushing for 1-2 or at best 3 yards on 1st and 2nd down, there's no secret to what's coming on 3rd and 6+. I'd like to see Fromm get some easy routes on 1st and 2nd down. and when they showed press coverage, we hardly tried a slant. It was maddening.

It's like Kirby/coley can't tell when the rushing offense isn't getting it done on the early downs so we end up always in 3rd and long.

Watch the 1st half of the Auburn game.We passed 6 times on 1st down alone.

Lol.

No. Due to the fact that we have shown issues with 3rd down blitzes this season.

Fromm cant see the open receiver (swift vs florida) or cant execute properly (wolf in the end zone).

You beat it by executing your playcall. Then they won't blitz.
