And the team continues to get better.

I expect next year will compete with this mark.

What a shame that the lackluster offensive performance has distracted from the fact that we are fielding the single best defensive unit we have ever seen at UGA

We are truly in the era of the new Junkyard Dawgs.

This defense is a huge 25 ft. Burmese Python that is hangry and chokes everything in its path to death...except for that fricking rooster but I blame the offense and Kirby for that game.

If we had a fricking offense worth a shite we'd be the favorite to win the whole damn thing this year....and we still just might. I've been a miserable frick all season ....watch us win this fricking thing lol. Probably would be the most Georgia thing ever.

Honestly we've played with our backs against the wall all year it feels like. Surely that helps as you start to really play for keeps as opposed to teams that have beat everyone 55-0 and not been in any dog fights pretty much all season. Those teams potentially panic...

We're going to be like the Toronto Raptors of CFB.

Georgia's defense allowed the fewest points in conference play of any SEC East team and the 4th fewest of any SEC team since the 1992 expansion.

The teams ahead of them were 2011 Alabama and LSU (won/played for national title), and 1992 Alabama (won national title).

Kirby Smart has proven his expertise as a defensive coach, could eventually rival Saban in that regard if recruiting holds up. Now he needs to trust his defense and hire a coordinator who will run a high octane offense that puts the opposing defense on their heels instead of their toes.

I've always loved overpowering defenses. Changes the dynamics of a football game. If our offense can do their part to sustain long drives and give the D a little time to rest, I like our chances.

This game depends on Fromm and his receivers and Coley. The D will show up and show out.

Their lone TD in regulation was a pick 6, no?

It was 17-17 going into OT. Hilinski hit a deep shot TD in the 2nd quarter

In 1971, we gave up 112 points in a 10 game season. 115 with the bowl game included. Final record 11-1. 9.6 ppg surrendered.
