That applies far more to you Justin Fields haters.

Why do you SOBs even bring this shite up in this argument? We've got guys black and white playing in key positions on our team. Who gives a shite what the color of his skin is if he can fricking play. Kirby apparently thinks Fromm has been more impressive in practice. May be he doesn't feel like Fields is quite ready yet. Whatever the case, I highly fricking doubt it has anything to do with the way he looks. Take that shite somewhere else. We don't need it here.

We just beat the gators by 19 points, Fromm played a great game, and this board is still lit up with arguments over starting Justin Fields....W in T actual F.

He's not going to ever be ready enough for Smart. Get real, Fromm will be Smart's QB for the next three years. We'll win a lot of games but not another championships Fields will transfer and ball out somewhere else. If people are okay with that, fine. Fromm was always going to be Smart's QB. There is no real QB competition. There is nothing Justin could do to unseat Fromm barring us losing two or three games in a row and Fromm being terrible. Nobody wants that to happen.

you weren't all i could think about but you were in the mix..

might have something to do with incessant amounts of drivel you are willing to put up on the back and forth with Fromm/Fields..

looks like Jake bought us a weeks worth of reprieve !

You must think very little of Kirby in order to have this opinion. You're saying the head coach is deliberately not playing the best player. I don't buy it.

That’s not what he said in what you quoted from him.

I was one of the ones saying he was dogshit against LSU and wanting to see a lot more of Fields, but Fromm came through big time in the second half on Saturday.

If you've got proof that Fields has been better in practice, then I'm all ears. Otherwise, you're just blowing smoke and talking out of your arse. Truth is if you truly believe Kirby is playing Fromm when Fromm isn't the better QB at the moment, then he's not the coach we all think he is. I just happen to trust his judgement. You're basing your opinion off of Fields high school play. While he was great in high school, that doesn't necessarily transfer to SEC play. He may need time, and maybe that's exactly what Kirby's doing.

What if Fields redshirts next year, while Plumlee plays backup and garbage time, putting two years of separation between Fromm and Fields, so Fields will still have two years of starting eligibility after Fromm graduates, with Plumlee redshirting his soph year while whatever the next freshman is coming in, forming a pattern.

Keeping in mind.... you can play in four games and still keep your redshirt... so we still have Fields available if needed...

That’s a plan Kirby needs to consider.

That is a terrible plan.I have been assured that Fields is more talented and will transfer out any day now. Kirby is sabotaging the program and is still a Saban plant - HTDog

I'm not saying that either. I'm simply saying you don't sit the better QB just for shits and giggles. I believe Kirby thinks Fromm is the better QB at the moment.

I don’t think that’s a criticism. Our strategy did change.

Read his remark. he criticized him because we did not abandon the run, not because our strategy changed in the LSU game.

There are reasons to sit the bigger talent at qb. Experience and unwavering loyalty are 2 of them.

High talent and high potential go hand in hand. Everything we have seen him do on the field or in camps is evidence of it.
