quote:Fromm did that against App State when Eason went down. It happens. Sometimes changing personnel can help a struggling offense while other times it just takes one well-executed play by the current players to do that.
I do think a player like him can elevate a team above it’s station, as we have seen, but that doesn’t mean we can’t lose.

We didn’t see anything comparable to cam or Watson in 2017. Those 2 carried their teams.

Has nothing to do with emotions. I'm talking about a QB who led his team to a NC game his freshman year.

There are really only 2 things that would make someone think a passer rating of 108 is good in CFB. That might have been considered good 40 years ago.

95% chance him and HT are the same person. And related to Fields. Been spewing the same tired shite for 2 weeks. It’s pathetic

What QB has had a good game against Bama?

I believe the criticism from LSU game was more - FROMM was having a horrible game and FIELDS wasn’t even utilized much at all - everyone has a bad game.
I felt it was more criticism of Kirby/Chaney and the QB plan than just pure Fromm-Hate.
Personally, I am still critical of how they have handled Fields so far regardless of if Fromm has a good game or bad.

quote:A big part of that is the type of offense we run. We run a run-heavy pro-style offense that has relied on running to set up the pass. You're not going to have a QB need to carry a team for a season like that unless the running game is useless in that type of offense.

My point is this: an argument made for Fields playing is that he could add a spark to the offense and Fromm has been able to do that, too. We just need better execution from the entire team when we're struggling to move the ball.

quote:In fairness, his passer rating took a big hit from those two INTs which weren't entirely on him. The first one got taken right out of his receiver's hands and the 2nd one was a fluke where an OL got pushed directly into the path of the ball as he was letting it go, allowing it to bounce up into the air.

Take away the tipped INT, and his rating goes to 114.

True, but for that Bama game, we get a passer rating closer around 145, and we probably win, and the QB would deserve a lot of credit for that win.
Most QB's who help beat Bama have a rating above 155 and if its lower than that, they do some damage with their legs and make clutch throws at the end.

Not one of them was a TF at the time

So you went from posting uneducated claims about quality passing performances to resorting to irrational claims of racism now. Get it together.

That being said, if we get to the SECCG with Fromm are you going to shut the frick up about all of this? I think most here would agree that you do need to STFU and let Kirby decide what's best for this team right now.
We would have WIN the SECCG for me to change my mind. All getting there would mean is that we lost to the two best teams on our schedule. Fromm beats Bama and I'm a believer again.

You got any stock market tips? You seem to be certain...no way you could be wrong.
Rusty has said numerous times including TODAY that Fromm or Fields will be gone before next season starts. How could it possibly be Fromm based on who is playing right now?
