No reason for this fan base to be so petty.
There's nothing petty about saying he hasn't played anyone. He hasn't. There's nothing petty about saying he didn't see the field well last year. He didn't. Put on your big boy panties, son. Life only gets harder after middle school.

Wake me up when he puts up big numbers against a legit team.

Using that logic, Fromm has played three cupcakes and one legit team and still hasn’t put up big numbers in any single game. He’s averaging less than 200 yards a game and about 1.5 TDS a game. Hardly the stuff of legends.

Bottom line is your boyfriend left you. He's gone. He's not coming back. I don't really give a frick either way if Fields is the next Cam Newton or the next Christian LeMay. He's not Georgia's quarterback. Jake is and I'm more than happy with that. You can stay a bitter, scorned little bitch if you want. I don't have to come home to you. Neither does Justin.

Message board chatter is serious stuff. You should write for soap operas you pathetic idiot.

Sure, if you're only using this year's numbers but it's not like he hasn't already shown the ability.

Fromm is a team player and is operating within the boundaries of the offense he has. He’s not going to put up the numbers you are using to judge the quality of a QB because of that.

He was in a spread offense in HS and put up monster numbers. He likely would do the same if our offense ran that way, but it doesn’t, so you should stop focusing on the stats and think about the offensive scheme we run, because even Fields wouldn’t be putting up those numbers here if he was having to operate the same offense we have today.

This x1000! There’s 9 pages of this garbage bc you just can’t seem to let it go like the rest of us. I don’t see a 10 page thread anywhere on Eason (who by the way was touted as the undisputed Gatorade player of the year before he got here). This is mildly annoying every time I hop on the board and the only new messages come from this thread. Go have fun on buckeye.com and leave the big kid talk to us.

Georgia isn't the only team that people are interested in discussing. Opponents are also worthy of discussion be they good or bad. Go Dawgs.

Let’s talk about it when we play them then.

calm down Mr Fields. its been 5 games against traditional powerhouses like FAU, Indiana, Cincy, Miani OH, and a bad Nebraska.

And some cupcake time last season. And the kid started, what, maybe one season in HS?

He's fast and has a gun. He has the physical tools to succeed.

Last season against SEC competition:
7/12 passing for 86 yards and 0 touchdowns.
He ran 26 times for 102 yards, averaging 3.9ypc
He was sacked 3 times.

These aren't good numbers, much less impressive, and REALLY fricking far from being considered indicative of a surefire future star.

Yes, I'm salty about the way he left here. Yes, I'm salty about all we heard about his bad attitude. Salty enough that I want the kid exposed at tOSU to be the ineffective passer against decent defenses just as he was at UGA.

This would be glorious. I would not guarantee victory as they are well coached and highly talented. I would however guarantee a UGA defense dead set on hitting the opposing qb as many times as possible. Would be fun to watch!

Bump. First real defense he has played and he looks like shite. Still early but not handling pressure well at all so far

Maybe hold that until the end of the game. He’s got a second half for their depth to take over and their coaching to put him in better positions...but so far he is looking a bit more mortal.

So much invested in hoping Fields sucks. He's 8-11 for 118 yards with 2TDs and 0 picks. He's really stinking it up.

Worry about UGA. Nothing they do will affect us until/unless they play us.

MSU is stout on D. Their O, poor. Just saying, not a Fields is great comment. OSU are good.
