As Kirby likes to say ... the game is won in the trenches. I think our Dline handles them and causes issues in the run game and pass protection. I think our offense, with a healthy Oline and Ettiene back, builds a strong running game opening up some play action or rpo opportunities for Stockton. I think we win by 2 scores. 24-10 or something like that.

My prediction from a rant thread was close to yours - 24-17 UGA.

Their Dline is very undersized. Hoping we can handle them better than we did against Tech’s.

Could be a blowout for UGA, could be a nailbiter in UGA's favor. Dawgs will win this game because of coaching and the fact we've been thoroughly tested throughout the season.

I don't see ND scoring more than 14. We may have 5 FGs and win.

ND is not that good of a team, with multiple weeks to prepare Kirby is scary. Also Stockton taking first team reps, and us getting healthy, this will be a big win.

UGA-38
ND-17

Overall pretty good predications on here. I see UGA by 10. The ND offense hasn’t impressed me much.

My only hesitation here is that IF (Ajd I know it’s a big if) ND knew they could handle IU running standard schemes, they could be willing to use Leonard as a battering ram like Tech did with Haynes King. Only thing is ND doesn’t run as many motions and eye candy and ball handling as Tech does, and I don’t think you can implement that in just a couple weeks. We might see more run scheme variety but I don’t think they can scheme us up the way Tech did based on how they normally play. I hope this made sense. lol.

I don’t see how any of us can predict the score with the unknown at QB. Even with Beck, it would be tough but at least we know what he’s capable of.

It would be difficult for anyone to scheme for Georgia the way GT did, because Key had been scheming for Georgia for a year. They arranged their schedule to take two of their 3 bye weeks in the month before Georgia. They hardly let Haynes King pass against Miami and NC St., even though his shoulder didn't appear to be seriously injured based on the way they used him.

Watch this play in the Miami game; video starts at the 21:30 mark. King runs up the middle, gets spun around and slammed into the ground directly on his right shoulder. Gets up and continues to play as if nothing happened. King had 20 carries for 93 yards in that game. That's not how you manage your qb if he has a shoulder hurt so badly that he can't pass the ball.

If UGA has finally gotten healthy, run it right at them and use some read options. Then stop burning them over the middle with the TEs once ND starts stacking for the run.

UGA 30

ND 17

With faster turf and no wind, Gunner exploits the tight end match-ups.

ND is much faster and more talented than they were in the early-mid 2010s. I expect this game to be a war, very similar to when they came to Athens in 2019.

No prediction yet, but I think the vibe is great. Dawgs got a breather, a fresh QB that the team loves, and the rat poison is at a minimum.

Increasingly excited for Wednesday.
