I have lived on the SE Atlantic Coast for many years of my life, yet I do not understand why people pay good money to go the the Beaches (SIC) there when you can get to the Gulf Coast without much more travel… where they have nice beaches.
Who are we talking about?
I doubt we are talking about people who live on the Atlantic coast.
We are talking about people who live 2 to 7 hours from the coast and probably vacation on both the panhandle and the Atlantic coast.
The beach is sacred to my wife and I and we honestly don't discriminate between panhandle and Atlantic coast.
Full disclosure, I haven't spent more than a few hours on the west coast beaches of Florida.

MONEY is the only thing they care about. Not tradition, not home field advantage or convenience. They definitely don’t care about my Fall vacation to Amelia. They certainly don’t care about all the money season ticket holders pay to only have to buy more tickets for a “home” game.

It was referring to people who are worried about not doing their “Beach” trip in late October on the Atlantic Coast tradition.

With the implication that the Atlantic beach trip is over-rated as indicated by someone who lived there.
Those who don't live on the beach probably have a different point of view.

I also lived on the SE Atlantic coast for a few years. I very much prefer it over Destin. My only Destin trips are due to my wife's side preferring it. Also, there are no stadiums on the emerald coast.

Only saving grace about Florida's east coast is from Fort Pearce South it's a short ride to the bahamas by boat.

Hate it for all my favorite bars in the dirty Dina. Hate it for SSI and frat beach. Hate it for Jax. However we cannot let these bitches walk in our trap and take over our trap. Dawgs need to have their heads on straight Saturday.

Hard to envision anything in “ATL” being a truly celebratory-worthy and enjoyable event.

Area around the stadium is completely and totally dead. You wouldn't even know there was a game going on in a couple hours

I'll be down in about 20 mins and yes, MBS does suck for tailgating.

Not a bad tailgating scene but nothing like Jax
