If we don't win the East this year, we may never win the East again. Florida looks bad, SC is terrible, Mizzou looks average, and UT is all hype IMO. Hell, UK may give us a run for our money this season.

But yea. If not now, then probably never with Richt.

Lol, what?

Step up?

It's the responsibility of players to "step up." They control what happens on the field.

He gets all the credit for being a QB guru but I don't see the talent they saw in lambert. During the whole a QB battle I thought Ramsey would pull it out and win the job. But he didn't. And it doesn't look like he will get many opportunities to see the field. I knew we would miss Bobo just didn't think it would be after a game vs Vanderbilt

If we can just get the damn QB position figured out, we're going to be really good. I still trust Richt enough to figure it out, but Bama is not far off

I have said it for years fire Richt. His window for winning us anything of worth has long passed. With him we will not win the east this year. We may never win it again depending on how Eason does. We will however not win the whole conference and not win the national title with Richt ever. He needs to go. Hopefully we get a better coach to replace him with. But even if we get our own version of Muschamp god forbid I'll be glad to know we fricking tried to get a good coach and on the plus side we can keep firing and hiring coaches until we find a competent one. Hell I think we have a much more competent HC on our staff already. His name is Pruitt. He should get the nod after Richt is canned or forced to "retire".

I do not have many years left to live due to a variety of health reasons (most caused by my known suicide attempt from last year albeit) I would like to see us win the conference again and win the national title before I die. I only have at best 10 years. That ain't much fricking time. Richt needs to go for my sake. For all of our sakes.

Lol, yeah. Florida, Kentucky, and tennesse have all vastly improved from last year and and mizzou is probably status quo. The only team that has tegressed is scaroloina and they will be tough. Winning the east will not be easy this year. Bunch of drunks on tonight.

You have to be the dumbest sumbitch around. Let's trade 9-10 win seasons and being in the mix EVERY year for the east for a "muschamp" and getting 3 wins a year. EFFFFFFFF YOU and the dumb arse hourE you rode in on. I don't always agree with Richt but rolling the dice, just the roll the dice is dumb as hell. There are better coaches but those ain't coming to UGA....muschamp was a lucrative hire and he crippled Flordia. Charlie Strong....who? It would be nice if the arm chair, I never took a snap, UGA fans would step back after a win....

This is fascinating.

Please walk us through the process of how it suddenly occurred to you...that Richt needs to step up THIS SEASON.

Nevermind. I get it now.

Some drunk at the end a bowling alley bar mumbles that Richt needs to step up THIS SEASON and everybody ignores it. But, now there's an internet and he can start threads about such.

Great.

Then why even bother to have a coach let alone pay multimillion dollars to the staff each year.

I just want the administration to try to find a coach that will win. 9\10 win seasons are all nice and pretty and mean jack shite in the long run. If you do not win your conference regularly those 9\10 win seasons mean nothing. And if we hire a dud coach guess what? We fire him and hire again and again until we find someone competent. You like being mediocre at best. I want us to succeed. To win something meaningful. We CAN NOT do so with Richt. That has been apparent for years. We need to roll the dice and as said we have the perfect candidate already on the roster. Pruitt will not do worse that Richt and there is a god chance he will do much better and at the very least win us the conference every few years. Hell we may get a natty out of it. But you and the administration are a bunch of pussies that are happy having a bunch of underachieving mediocre teams. I repeat 9\10 wins are worthless if you do not have titles to back it up. We need to stop under utilizing the talent we get every year and start trying to win something that is worth a damn for once.

How does this in any way help your argument that the problem isn't Richt? You basically made the east out to be a cake walk.

They were worn down in the 2nd half.

Glad we get them at home, though.

Come now y'all should know by now I have to get my Fire Richt rant done at least twice a year. It has become a tradition of sorts. Doesn't make my words any less true. I know the administration is a bunch of spineless cowards who will not act in order to let us win something. I know they won't fire him (not until he loses to Tech 3+ times in a row god forbid if that ever happens) but it does not hurt to rant a little it's what the net is for. Well this and porn is what the net is for. Let the slowly dying man have his fun venting. At least my venting is full of truths. We underachieve. Winning 9\10 wins is nice but overall worthless when no conference titles at minimum are with it. And we will not win the conference again with Richt.

I think this thread needs to be forwarded to Richt's office.

For all we know Richt might be planning on stepping up NEXT SEASON.... instead of THIS SEASON. And maybe he'd change his mind if the alert gets there before it's too late.
