I'm anti Russia, but I'm also anti Ukraine. Does that make me Pro Russia?
I think NATO countries have been ripping us off for decades by not paying their fair share of GDP for their own security, instead forcing us to spend so much of our money for their security. Does that make me anti-NATO?

You mean after Trump blew millions trying to primary him with David Perdue while failing miserably? Okay.
Thanks for reminding me of Perdue though, another one of Trumps awful candidates that does nothing but lose? (I voted for Perdue in the primary btw)

REgarding being generallly anti-government organizations....
well.... yeah.....
EPA is a joke.
FBI has been politically weaponized. Hell, the whole DOJ. At least at the leadership level. For the agents out there reading this, I think the rank and file guys are more or less ok, doing a job that is a required job for any stable country who values law enforcement. I want to make that clear.
CDC has been politically weaponized at the leadership level. Sure there are hard working intelligent scientists in the CDC that bring their lunch pail to work and research sciency stuff, but they have lost a great deal of credibility, globally, in recent years.
I could go on. But someone is knocking on my door... brb....

Back to OP-
OP still doesn't know about the new Rainbow Crosswalks leading to the Arch from College Square, where there once stood a statue of a confederate war hero that was torn down a few years ago. He's shocked that Athens is voting 71% Warnock. I'm shocked it's not 91% Warnock.

Trump running again will almost certainly mean another four years of Democratic rule. This shite could get bad real
I agree. Every vote Trump gets for himself or one of his candidates brings with it 1.33 votes against him or that candidate on average
Add in the cheating by the left to that and do the math.

Whats up with Trump threatening DeSantis?

Trump will be a disaster in 2024
I get blasted all the time for saying this on Facebook. However….the man is now unelectable IMO. He’ll never make it past primaries, and the sooner people realize this, the better off we’ll be. And if he is on the general election ticket, we’ll have 4 more years of that brain dead idiot we have now. DeSantis is realizing that he needs to distance himself from Trump if he really wants to be president. Anyone else that wants a federal office needs to realize the same. A Trump endorsement is just as poisonous as Trump himself. The man is simply not electable anymore, and he won’t just shut the frick up and go quietly for the good of the country.

I hate to concede because it emboldens the bullshite that happened that made Trump un-electable, and we'll likely see more of it. He was fighting city hall since before his election. It's disgusting. But you are correct. He needs to go away. I doubt DeSantis wants to or will run against him. That is a loss for the country.

"They" will never let Trump get elected again. They will kill him before they let him get re-elected. I'm not saying it is right or wrong, actually I'm saying it's wrong, but it's what it is. But make no mistake, they will also go after Ronald just as hard. They will make up conspiracy bullshite about Ron and amplify it and parrot it and try to destroy him too. They will go after anyone associated with him, any staff, any appointments, and dig up shite on them, manufacture it if they have to, and they will turn him into literally hitler. It's what they do. SO it's reasonable to say Trump is no longer electable, but that doesn't mean they won't burn Ronald at the stake too. They will.

I remind my wife of this all the time. You'll think DeSantis is literally Hitler before they are done with him. It's a sad state of affairs.

Exactly what I have been saying. The House was the most important part of this election. Getting Pelosi and Schumar out of their positions and stopping Biden from screwing up even more is what this election was about.

I believe a large number of people are suffering from "Trump Fatigue" just like a large percentage of the population finally got "Covid fatigue" and quit listening to the "get your booster, wear your mask, etc". They tired of hearing over and over how terrible Trump is and just moved on. They believe what he has to say about the "Deep State" and "Swamp" but have gotten worn out by the constant hammering of the media and social media and just quit giving a damn.

If you’re surprised by this, you haven’t been paying attention to Trump. This is who he is and always has been. He demands loyalty but then threatens any “friends” that might threaten his quest for power. He’s a textbook narcissist. I’m happy people are waking up to who he is, but for those of us who are conservatives and have pegged him since 2015 for who he is and what he would do to conservatism in the long, this has been a really frustrating 7 years.

The thing that truly amazed me about this election is that we haven't reached the pain level yet for the typical voter to move from their tribal position. Record inflation, immigration, war, energy costs, supply chain issues, crime, etc. ... still not enough.
We all love #34 but he wasn't the best candidate. That said, I agree with Beef that the split between Kemp and Walker makes no sense. How can you vote for two people whose views are totally opposed to each other?
It's not fraud. Its that the majority of the voters look at elections like beauty contests and make their decisions based on tribe, looks and feel rather than consider the ramifications of positions these candidates will take that affect their lives. I know people that split their ticket and their argument is always the same:
"Kemp has done and good job and the state has done well"
"Herschel isn't senate material, I'm voting for Warnock"
How do you reconcile these two thoughts? Warnock is completely opposed to all of the things Kemp believes and will vote against the positions he takes on a national level that led to the success you enjoyed under Kemp. Walker will vote in line with Republicans on energy, crime, immigration, spending, etc. Who cares how articulate he is or his past issues? The same suburban housewives that raise hell about CRT in schools aren't voting for Herschel because he's not "ready for the Senate". What are you afraid he's going to do? Are you gaining some intellectual high ground by voting for a candidate that is hell bent on pushing policy that you oppose?
I really don't get it...but it's where we are.
Also, on Trump...he's been gaslighted to be the most dangerous man since Hitler. Like it or not, he cannot overcome this and will be toxic to anything he touches. He cannot win in 2024 despite how much a minority of people want him to. The best thing for the country would be for him to move on.
Just my two cents.
