That is funny.

I don't know what the big deal is with trying to steal signals. It seems like just game prep and not cheating. To me, cheating is paying the refs to throw the game (Bama), flopping to slow opposing offenses, buying players (now legal with the NIL), etc.

First - It is cheating because there are specific rules about attending a future opponents game and gathering intelligence from that visit.

Second - They were video recording stuff that was not available by the exchanging of videos or live broadcasts. Even a report that at one game, they had someone on the sidelines listening and observing

Not only that watch Brooks Austin take on why it’s cheating

It’s a significant advantage if you have extra footage and analysis before you play a team

If it’s not cheating then it opens the door to much worse as technology continues to improve

Leave it to Harbaugh to take something everyone probably does a little bit of and go so ridiculously over the top with it that he gets in trouble.

If we manage to make it to the CFP and then are able to beat MI again….he’ll have a nervous breakdown.

I don't see how they would even allow Michigan to play given all this

There’s no way they’re going to bar an undefeated Big10 team from the CFP over this. He’ll get a slap in the wrist.

The Cam Newton suspension.

He can't practice on Tuesday before the conference championship game.

This guy has a 500 page manifesto about taking over Michigan football. Apparently he has devoted his life to becoming a Michigan coach. He also was dumb enough to keep his venmo account public when he paid people to go watch the games. There was one from Dec 30 2022 that said "GA" on it.

You have to admire the dedication even though he seems unwell. The man has dreams.

The difference is the details of Cam's cheating wasn't made so public. The absurdity of this is how he didn't cover his tracks at all. All the evidence is right there for anyone to see. The NCAA may as well pack it up and close down if they don't take a stand on this. Otherwise, they have no enforcement power at all.

I agree to disagree.
There was no disputing the exchange of money in pay for play.
There was no disputing that Cam was ineligible and needed a suspension.

Lawyers got involved and gave the NCAA an out (Tuesday suspension after the regular season was over).

Lawyers will get involved and we will see no backbone by the NCAA.

The fact that these skits are usually over the top exaggerated but they didn’t have to really do that with this one goes to show how stupid and ridiculous Michigan really is. Also loved the part where they blamed Mizzou the wrong block M team.
