Our leading dropper is Lovett, and that didn't happen last year. Smith had much fewer drops, too, as did Bell. What's the difference?

Yeah. I don't understand it. Last year Bell was money, especially on contested balls. This year I do think Luckie may the best hands on the Team and the catch on the sideline with the toe inbounds was Bowersesque.

What my eyes have seen is that Beck tends to throw slightly behind the WR's.

Stetson threw the softest leading ball in the game and was like catching a pillow.

No idea about what Gunner can do yet, I will reserve judgement after more games under his belt.

Delp had a tough catch as well, just not that one.

Much better than BVG, but not as good as Beck or Stet.

If his draft stock does go down can he come back for another year? Seth Emerson the of Athletic was talking about it on 92.9

Just saw on Instagram that rumors are swirling about Beck getting offers to transfer outside the sec for next season.

What would it do to the locker room/recruits if he came back?

Love this on Stockton…this kid or Beck?

I'd love to have Carson Beck back next year. It might cause somebody currently on roster to transfer, but he's the best qb we have right now or likely to have next season.

I remember when people didn’t want Stetson to come back because he would scare off other QBs and would never make a pro team. Then we won the Natty with him, again and he is on the Rams.

I am hopeful that we can go on a playoff run with Stockton, but the idea that we would run off Beck to make way for Stockton next season is insane.

I am confident that if Beck wants to come back, Kirby will be glad to have him back.
I mean who doesn't want an experienced QB with an NFL level arm who knows your offense?
The good news is any potential QB recruits will know that it would be Beck's last season and the position will be open for 2026.

I need to see more of Stockton before I'm sure that he isn't as good as Beck. Beck has the size and the arm talent but there seems to be something that Stockton has that Beck lacks.

My concern about Stockton is that he wants to run over linebackers. My concern about Beck is that he's too reluctant to run. I hope for a QB who is better than both. It's too early for me to know what kind of talent we have on roster now.

You can check all the boxes, tall, thick, big arm, but if you don't have the intangibles, it's for not. Look at Stet....he had it, if he was 6'4, 230, he would have won the Heisman and gone #1 overall.

Having a dual-threat QB adds a much needed extra dimension to Monken's offense which Bob inherited.
And after the way Stockton got blown up by that hit in OT vs Texas, I'm guessing he will be more cautious in his impromptu runs in the future. Frankly, we were fortunate that Stockton didn't fumble after that jarring hit which speaks well of Gunner's ability to hold onto the ball but hopefully that never happens again.
But yea, it would be ideal to have a QB with Beck's size and arm strength who can give our offense viable run-pass option.
