Tua never won an SECCG. He didnt start in the NCG.
Fields never did either, either, has he? Didn't he throw an INT to end Ohio States season last year? One could argue had Fromm done the same in the Rose Bowl Field's would have been the starter at UGA...he didn't and the rest is history.

If he wants to join his brother and play at Tennessee, might was well sit out this season which isn't looking too promising anyway.

I think they just treated him like he was a done deal to UTerd rather than recruiting him. Almost like they didn't need to "recruit" him.

And can you tell it slowly, and in great detail?

If any of you have sympathy for this slimeball kid or his family, his lawyer now plans to expose the "toxic" environment at UGA now. UNBELIEVABLE!

I dont have sympathy for May's.
I dont have sympathy for lawyers.
Am I wrong? Or did Cade Mays have Tom Mars handle the first request for immediate eligibility?
It sounds like the Mays family gave Mars the finger.

Mars dropped the case and Tennessee handled it.
Mays transferred in January and Tennessee didn't submit the waiver until July.
Can only guess that Tennessee hoped the one the transfer rule would pass, saw that proposal get delayed until next January, then filed last minute. Either that or they're just idiots.
The latter wouldn't surprise anyone.

I really think the conference and NCAA wanted to nip the we will find a reason to sue you transfer angle in the bud.

How much did his family pay for this lawyer? College sports are insane any more.

New lawyer taking a lot of shots at UGA, accusing program of leaking story about the dad's lawsuit to the media.
Also...what's this about a "toxic environment" for Cade Mays when he was at UGA? He played a ton, gave no indication publicly of unhappiness, seriously doubt anyone was persecuting him.
Is this now the era when every player who decides he wants to get out of his commitment gets to pull a "toxic environment" card?

UGA didn't stand in his way on his initial waiver. If he wins appeal with NCAA, he still has to be cleared by the SEC. The facts of this case won't be pretty for Tennessee if they all come out.

This is the part many folks don't realize. SEC can still squash the waiver even if the NCAA signs off.
