Not much buzz coming outta Athens about the RS FR QB vs the buzz about Murray in '10. Is he not progressing? Shouldn't Ramsey be pushing HM? Ramsey was a top 2-3 QB coming out right?? Do we go from Mason to Park??

He had no chance to start honestly. In 2015 Bauta, Ramsey, and Park will all be given a shot I assume. It's Masons job until it's not whether it be injury or poor performance.

That's a negative... you do not go from Mason to Park.

I'm also wondering about Ramsey and envision a JUCO transfer or Jacob Coker.

You are officially the smartest person on Dawgrant, dallasga6

This will be the end of Richt.

??? Ramsey is all Dean Legge on Scout can talk about. Says he's got the best tools for a QB of anyone Georgia has had on campus since ... ever.

Other than Legge, though, I haven't heard much about Ramsey.

As for me, I'll believe it when I see it. I think Mason will start next year because he's the best QB on the team and after Mason leaves, Ramsey and Park will fight for it. If I had to guess, I think Park will be the better QB, but that's a complete guess.

Good question. Inquiring minds want to know. I thought Mason played well enough to win vs Nebraska but there was an obvious drop-off from Murray. Frankly, I would like to see us play a more athletic QB with a stronger arm, exactly the type of QB that has led Auburn into 2 NC games. No, I'm not suggesting that we move to a read/option offense but someone like Shockley who can make big plays with his legs to get first downs when needed is a huge benefit to any offense.

There's actually been a lot of buzz around Ramsey. I guess it just hasn't gotten as much mainstream press since he won't be the starter next year.

I would say it's a 90% chance he's the starter in 2015.

Dean is way down my list of go to guys...Seriously tho, I was just asking, not a lotta talk about BR even challenging HM... CMR has had a lotta success starting a RSFr that he & Bobo like & turning them into a 4 yr starter...

Possibly, unless Ramsey goes pro. I have my doubts that Park will be developed enough to be the starter in 2015. He's got all the tools but is really raw.

He knows what he's signing up for. He's seen Ramsey throw. Kudos to him for having the balls to come in and compete.

I like Park.

But I think he's a backup guy.

Ramsey is the question.

I like Park too, but Ramsey is likely going to be the guy.

Everybody always likes the next big thing in each recruiting class, but Ramsey was that for us in the 2013 class. He's a 1st round-type physical talent who will have been in the system for a year longer than Park.

That he played in a wing-t in high school. That's pretty much it, to my knowledge.

Murray played in more of a spread at Plant, iirc.

LOL. I am pretty sure that I read Lowndes25 a couple of weeks ago stating there would be no question about the starter in 2015. Pretty much all the guys that obviously have connections inside the program have been saying Ramsey is going to ball out.

Mason needed those 2 starts. After an offseason as the #1 guy, I expect him to come out sharp. Hopefully Faton & Ramsey play well enough to earn more than mop up duty. Park can RS and then we are looking at a battle between Faton, Ramsey, and Park in 2015

BR I see being a dual threat QB once he matures.
