According to sources close to the situation, Bowers will not ask for any collective money because he prefer those opportunities go to other UGA student athletes.

He's not but I do pray He protects and keeps him healthy so he makes it to the league healthy and RAKES it in. He will be a legendary DGD. He'll deserve it. Well played young man.

I think I’ve taken Bowers’ greatness for granted at times. He really is not only the best tight end in school history, but probably the best pass-catcher in school history. We’re really lucky to get to watch him for one more year.

yah, Bowers is unreal. I hope he stays healthy. He's ready for the NFL now and has to live with the rules. It sounds like he is the kind of guy that would stay to get his degree and maybe stay all 4 years. I'm sure he will get a lot of advice to go pro after next year. He can come back if he needs to finish his degree.

Doesn't his family own a winery in Northern California? If so, I don't think money is an issue for him like it might be for some of his teammates. It says something about his maturity level and empathy to recognize that and act accordingly.

If true, does anybody know which one?

I believe his dad is a partner in a Construction firm and mom was a teacher. I am sure they do well but like all Californians, probably not a ton of left over money after massive monthly cost of living ....

He has a real chance to score 35+ TDs in his college career. Here is the list of Georgia players all time who have done that:

Herschel
Chubb
Gurley
Michel
Lars Tate
Hearst

For a tight end to potentially join that list in 3 seasons is absolutely staggering, even if he is going to play a lot more games in 3 seasons than almost anyone else.

He might be the best college tight end I've ever seen. He was better as a true freshman than Kyle Pitts has been at any point in his football career.

He is a real problem. Appears he almost scores every time he touches the ball. A 5 yard out he's trying to break tackles...and he often does.
