Our Oline did a great job pass blocking. Now the Ut.Martin head coach said they came in with a game plan to stack the box so you either run into an 7-8 man box or you throw the football. One thing you can't do is be stubborn and run into a stacked box over and over and over again. One thing Monken was good at was taking what the defense gave him.

PB, I hear you. But at the end of the day, it’s a message board. This isn’t the pace people come to for nuanced, high IQ conversation. And if it is, yikes.

I watched a lot of cfb this weekend on vacation, i would wager that 4 out of five cfb teams would trade their starter for carson beck.

I've just noticed that you seem to see yourself as being above most everyone else on this board and that your opinion is the only one that matters. That is a perfect description of an arrogant prick.
I don't give a frick if you are a former player. Michael Jordan was the best basketball player ever, but he is a terrible team owner who seems to struggle to evaluate talent.

I don’t know everything nor did I imply I did. I do have a better base of knowledge than a lot of people, but that does not make me right all the time.
It is why I said I’d argue their hot takes with them and let others judge. The reactions tell a story.

I got frustrated after watching consecutive 3 and outs that were run, run, pass and punt. In spite of that I'm confident that picking Bobo as OC was the right choice. Bringing in an outsider would require too much adjustment.
Between the choices we have at QB we should be okay. Time will tell if Beck is the best choice. I'm glad that we'll see more of all 3 guys. Go Dawgs.

In total we had 4 drives during the game that went 3 and out. Plays as follows:
1) Incomplete pass, pass complete for 6, incomplete pass, punt
2) Incomplete pass, run for 6, incomplete pass, punt
3) Complete pass for 4, run for 2, complete pass for 3, (false start), punt
4) [Brock is now QB] complete pass (penalty nullifies), run for 3, rush for 24 (penalty nullifies), run for 5, icomplete pass, punt
So what actually happened in real life was we had a grand total of zero drives that resulted in run, run, pass, punt. Not a single one. You are the EXACT person that I'm talking about as someone that has their mind made up ahead of time and will flat out refuse to change it no matter what.
