It's not Bobo. It's Beck that is the problem.
Bobo doesn't help. He was AWFUL today. When you watched the game today, you saw one team scheme WRs wide open all day, and you saw the other team just hoping that someone could win a 1 on 1 matchup.

they need to sit him for a series and let him collect his thoughts and emotions and watch one of his team mates take a series, not "benching" him per se
Sark did this with Ewers and he played better after that, but I don't see Kirby doing something like that.

Slight tweak:

Get it?

They are not going to hurt Beck's NFL stock at this point.
Beck is tanking his own draft stock, and frick him for giving it a minute of his mindshare until the season is over.

If the receivers catch the ball when it hits them, Bobo's pass offense makes excellent sense.
Ole Miss wasn't exactly running the 2019 Alabama depth chart out there at WR, but they had guys wide arse open all game long. I can't remember one time where we had a guy pop wide open like theirs did down the middle all day. That's a scheme issue.

I’m pretty sure UGA leads all FBS teams in dropped passes.
But bobo still sucks.

This has always been bobo’s weakness.
He is a below average schemer.
Alway a has been, always will be

It feels like Bobo calls plays like I call plays in Madden. Calls play, sees defense…yup they are on the field….hope this shite works

Eh bobo has had moments where I actually think he’s halfway decent.
The problem is those moments come when we either
A. Have a massive talent advantage which pretty much negates his playcalling.
Or
B. They come once in a blue moon which leads to no consistency.
Seriously though, we’ve already established how many drops we’ve had tonight, I want to know how many screens per game we call. We HAVE to be in the top 5.
Also to play devils advocate for tonight, I really don’t know what you’re suppose to do if you don’t have a line that can protect a QB or open up the run game. But I refuse to believe that after years of recruiting 4/5 star players that we somehow managed to evaluate them all poorly.

I agree 100%… this guy lifted the team after the AU game last year. This year, Jefferson suggested the ink might have caused an infection and I agree.

Even Kevin Butler was made subtle comments about how Beck needed to be benched on the post-game show. I was really surprised as he normally tries to encourage players on his show and is probably highly encouraged to do so by the producers. There's just no putting lipstick on this pig any longer. Bobo likely gets a pass this year, but if he can't work with what he has next year and the offense looks like this next year; then the big money guys are going to weigh in heavily like they did when they pushed McGarity to pull the trigger and fire Richt. I would go as far to say Bobo's job may be on the line vs TN and Tech. If the offense looks like total crap in those games, then he needs to be let go.

Isn't that supposed to be on the coach? Practice should make perfect.

How many of those off the fingers from bad throws called drops?

Bobo doesn't miss blocks and get the QB sacked. Bobo doesn't throw passes that get tipped at the LOS for an interception. Bobo doesn't get sacked twice in a row and end up out of FG range. Bobo doesn't drop a pass because he's afraid of getting hit. Bobo doesn't sit on the bench with his head down watching his Heisman hopes fade away.
Beck is supposed to be the leader of the offense but he looks like he doesn't care anymore. Whoever's #2 should get equal snaps this week and be ready to go in if we stumble next Saturday.
edit: when we stumble next Saturday.

We need an innovative offensive mind who would beat his grandma with a tire iron on pay-per-view for the shot at designing an offense around the sort of talent we can pull in Athens
