I moved to dawsonville and don't get 680 up here (nor the fm affiliate).
All I get is 92.9.
Why listen to local talk radio that puts college football 5th behind Falcons, Braves, hawks, and united coverage?
I've pretty much been all podcast for the past 4 years.
Direct to consumer the exact subject that I want on demand.
Advertisers on local radio are pissing money away (unless it is for live games).

Yes, and no one likes the sound of their own voice more than Dimino. Whenever he's interviewing someone, he always has to make sure the interview subject knows Dimino is smarter than him.

Atlanta sports talk radio is infested with overbearing Italians who are NY/NJ/Philly transplants. Why anyone gives them the time of day is a mystery.

They talk and cover the Dawgs a lot. Randy McMichael has a midday show that is pretty good.
Steak has Rusty Mansell and Drew Butler as co-host multiple times per week.
The morning show sucks and I could take or leave dukes and bell, but they all cover the Dawgs pretty well.

So on Monday, "covers college football a lot" is still "less than".

I like Rob Tribble. I used to like Dukes and Bell but there schtick has gotten kind of old. Steak will always be remembered for the Gleason bit they did. Good for Stetson but hopefully he doesn't let the media get under his skin too much. If he plans to go to the NFL he will need to need to learn to deal with a lot more media.

I took it to mean he was calling Steak a toddler-brained gimp. Which is not inaccurate. Like, three year olds can't really color inside the lines of a coloring book, and it is a reference to that.

In Steak's defense, Stetson did seem to spend the majority of his time on his phone. There was definitely a moment where he had two phones in his hand trying to synch them for one reason or another (apparently the synching music from one phone to another that was synched with bmw bluetooth) but that was only a few minutes of the "parade".

I moved from Metro Atl a number of years ago. I remember Buck on 680. I can't remember his sidekick's name, he was a sanctimonious dude from Philly, talked down to people constantly.
Shapiro was always a blowhard as far as I was concerned. Did not care for Bell either. Bell thought he was funny, I thought he was boring.
What ever happened to Beau Bock?? I thought he was entertaining with some of his takes on things.
During football season I listen now to Sirius channel 84. They have a lot of college football coverage.

This is the only correct answer for CFB fans. Worst we have to deal with is Danny Kanell for a couple of hours each morning.

Kanell and his anti-SEC rants get a little tiring. I don't think Kanell even believes his own crap that he spews regarding the SEC.
