He went in on Stet pretty hard this morning. And all but one of the callers agreed w/him. And of course Sandra was just nodding in approval b/c she can't formulate any original thought of her own.

My favorite explanation was that he was texting pics from the CFP Championship game to all those Tennessee fans who called him before the game in November.

Steak doesn’t bother me and has a pretty good media story/history. He shouldn’t have bit on the social “uproar” over this. SB is done and did what very few ever have. Let that go.
What was wrong is the soft af worried about what he was and wasn’t doing on the car.
SB speech was about the same as always ..unprepared and random. For my taste, he plays the aw shucks got no idea what to say thing too much for someone with that much media time, but I also don’t hold that against him. Players like him and and be produced.

9-11 on 92.9 the game. Sandra is hardly ever on which is fine as she’s incredibly uninteresting and I like when Rusty Mansell fills in. 92.9’s early morning show is super boring so taking away an hour of it for this show was fine to me.

Good to get an explanation. I saw other footage of him waving and acknowledging the crowd so it didn’t look like he was blanket ignoring everyone anyway.

TBH. I didn’t know Sports talk still existed in Atlanta; those guys have put so many out of business over the years. Their takes always suck. It’s like sitting around talking with guys at a bar.. they have literally no clue..

I never understood why local sport talk radio had to be infiltrated with so many Yankee "personalities".
As has been said, those personalities have put more businesses under than the game of monopoly.
They aren't entertaining.
And they aren't informational.
Just a waste of air space.

I couldn't even tell you the last time I listened to Atlanta radio, much less some of the God-awful content that's sports talk". I hung it up after Boortz retired.
I listen to ESPNU on XM most days when there's some CFB content, but not like I used to.

Same here. I used to be a religious 680 listener and 790 back in the day. Switched to podcasts a few years ago and never looked back.

Moved down here to da beach almost 3 years ago.
Are Demino and Cellini still a thing on Atl radio??
