Appears the lightning is moving out for now. Still some rain though, but not stuff that will affect play

What’s your least favorite play call so far

I wasn't a huge fan of that quick out route to Branch from the 1 yard line. That seems like a high risk route in a very compacted area of the field. If that ball isn't thrown perfectly, there is a decent chance of it being a pick six the other way.

Other than that, it's hard to call plays down there when you don't have any timeouts because the defense knows you're throwing the ball into extremely tight windows.

I'm not a film guru though, just some guy watching from his couch.

ETA: The rollout pass to Cash before that was a great call and should have been an easy touchdown. Execution has been spotty all day today.

So, not 1 play?

We ran a similar play against Tech last year in OT that worked. I think it is supposed to be a pick/rub play. The defender made a good read and jumped it. Not sure if the pick worked. The ball was definitely at risk. I think that one will be partial execution and partial good play and read by the AP player.

It hit Branch in the hands and should have been a TD.

It did, but it's one that still has to be thrown absolutely perfectly at just the right time or it could go very poorly. Seems like a really tough play to execute to me.

Just got in from the lake. Judging by the comments I'm guessing Bobo and Searles need a raise and a contract extension.

...and yet the QB executed it.

Rub plays near the end zone are something you need to be able to run and execute well. Really hard to cover when done right. Not against them in principle, but understand and agree that that play was not right. Still, had a shot to make a play.

I thought we got Colby Young for the 50/50 red zone shots …. Didn’t try it once.

Florida 9-3 on S Florida at half

Dabo trailing 7-0 to Troy end of 1st

Not saying it’ll be one of these, but the week 2 slate is so bland and dull that something crazy is going to happen

I thought we were going to put an emphasis on running the football successfully.

Averaging 4.5 yards rushing for 90 yards and 2 TDs. The fumble and the last play of half were bad, but overall solid run game so far. We have 1 more pass than run attempt.

Neither of those situations would make me giddy, but both would set better with me than 14-3 vs Austin Peay at half.

Correction : only the S Florida score would. I read Clemson backwards. ADHD is deadly.

Has the TE even been in any play today? Other than blocking?
