He changed his twitter image to a black background. I'd say he is gone.

Per Americus he has gotten offers...even before the Monken hire.If you can recruit you'll get offers.

Hearing Jimbo has called and he is going.

Honestly, it will be for the better. I can’t see the chemistry being great being demoted and remaining on staff. Heckuva recruiter but Kirby may be allowing an OC to do what he wants now. Buster must be joining as on field coach if Coley is gone

My uneducated guess is Buster is our new QB coach. Good news for us....Monken and Buster are both QB gurus.

May be too much Q Thread in me, but Coley's background looks like there's literally writing on the wall...

I agree with that point wholeheartedly. Lots of companies prefer to remove rather than demote key employees for that very reason. Plus, with Coley possibly moving on to some rival eventually (even if he stayed for another season), I'd rather limit, as much as possible, the dissemination of inside details of Monken's UGA offense.

I wish no I'll towards Coley, hopefully he finds a situation he can succeed in.

I think we never adjusted to losing Chubb and Michele, and those guys made their own way.

Agreed, you don’t leave S. Miss as OC to be an analyst.

I will miss Coley. Great recruiter, great WR Coach, good guy to have on an offensive staff, just not an SEC play caller.

He gone. Just a matter of where. Texas A&M seems most likely.

Jimbo calling plays while Coley recruits and does all the administrative duties of an OC, and make a shitload of money, is not a bad deal for Coley.

I would still rather make less and live in Athens than College Station.

I think the pay can be compounded by Texas’ lack of a state income tax but I wonder how much more A&M would plan to pay him
