All this drama

We have teams out there like Auburn that have lost just as many games as us that were preseason ranked 3 and here we are melting like a bunch of pussies and fabricating in house drama all over the place.
After 15 years of a fairly consistent no drama team and this year people are flying off the fricking reservation. Did anyone really expect us to be a Playoff team with our QB situation?
Ugh

Some did, but that's just fandom for you. 15 years of consistent mediocrity with a (couple of exceptions) is what people are tired of. Same shite different season. If CMR ends up celebrating 20 years at UGA, I doubt anyone would predict a NC between now and then. He's had his time - time to move on.

No but haven't scored a TD in 2 games. Plus we've gotten embarrassed in our two biggest games. 65-13 to be exact.

We have no QB, a porous OL, and we lost arguably the best RB in the country.
If we had started the season unranked, this melt would be much less pronounced. Also, Florida greatly exceeding expectations with a first year coach is just fanning the flames.

15 years into Mark Richt's program and we're getting shite on on the reg. Maybe you are.

and WHO THE frick is that on? OL recruitment/development has sucked from day one. jacob park was, by many accounts, the best qb on the roster. yet we ran him off because he didn't fit the genius schottenheimer's mold.
got killed by UF's lame duck coach, got killed by UF's first year coach.
enough is enough.

You're a moron. You look at the shite play we've had at QB, and your giant brain thinks that the guy who couldn't beat out those guys is somehow better?

no reason to call names. that is completely unnecessary. I heard several reports that Jacob Park had the best skill set out there. I didnt just pull that out of my arse. It's the same as the Mettenberger/Murray spring. there was lots of talk that Mett looked damn good.
and just who's fault is the chronic lack of OL?????

I am with you man. We could have had one thread to discuss the state of affairs and the future of Richt, Pruitt, Schotty, etc. Instead everyone and their momma had to start their own thread. Ugly melt. Warranted, but ugly.

I'm not sure I follow. Murray holds pretty much every single SEC passing record. Richt saw that he was better than mettenberger, as we saw how that played out.
Park's name was never in the discussion to start this year, that's what he left. Our coaches weren't deciding between two excellent quarterbacks - they were choosing the pile of shite that smelled the least. And Park didn't factor into that decision. It's easy to say he could have been great, but he was deemed to be worse than the 3 we went with...and you have seen how they have played.
Also there is not a chronic lack of OL - our OL has just been bad this year.
I won't call you a moron if you are sensitive, but your posts have been moronic

that's better.
I never said Mett should have won the job over Murray. I said there was a lot of talk the Mett/Murray spring that Mett looked damn good. And it turned out to be true.
there was ALSO a lot of talk that Park was CLEARLY the most talented QB on the roster with the best skillset. i'm thinking that talk was probably true as well.
Admittedly I was just speculating as to why schottenheimer (who's judgement HAS to be called into question at this point) chose to shunt Park to the side.
seeing Ramsey and Bauta in action it's not much of a leap to acknowledge that any spring observations that Jacob Park was our best Qb were quite possibly true.
as to OL we just have to disagree. i see a team that frequently misses on stud OL they really want (Laremy), generally underrecruits OL numbers, offers last minute desperation scholarships to late bloomers after missing on primary targets, underdevelops the OL they DO get (Theus) is chronically short on depth and believes in finesse over push.

That's cause that's the way they do things in the ACC. Richt was taught the tools of the trade in the ACC. How many Sony Michel type backs have we in the last 15 years.

Exactly. Most reasonable fans didn't expect us to be in the playoff hunt this year but to just not even show up in our 2 biggest games of the year is fricking embarassing. If this was the first year it happened, I'd be okay with that but this shite has been happening since 2007.

Don't forget our other loss. I predicted a close loss to UT for months so I shouldn't have been angry are disappointed. But even then we blow a 21 point lead making the close loss, even though expected, a CMR affair

consistent mediocrity
You might want to look up the definition of mediocrity. Averaging 10 wins a year is hardly mediocre. Mediocrity is 6 win seasons. Medium. Get it? We are nowhere near mediocrity. I keep seeing people call us mediocre.

And you might be right. But for people to run around like their hair is on fire and the world is crashing and burning seems pretty overreactive.
