It’s apples and oranges comparing baseball to football. Football is the ultimate team game. Baseball players don’t have to play within a system or learn complex plays. It’s much easier to switch schools every year.

Ole Miss is without that offensive staff and Golding is the HC.

Ole Miss is starting over on offense. Kiffin is obviously gone, and then Charlie Weis Jr. who we've been told is the second coming of Bill Walsh, is gone too. Their new OC was at East Carolina last year.

It's a good thing for us Kiffin left for LSU. The game in Oxford this season really really would've been a tough one.

Great pickup and an interesting trend.

This season our top 5 recruits so far are all offensive players. Last season we had several top offensive recruits. In the past, it seemed like we went all out on the defensive side.

NIL world is perfect for schools like Miami who have boosters who like to show off their money.

We have a year maybe two if wade doesn’t start as a true freshmen to fill in which I would assume isn’t going to be Montgomery or pugs. What are the chances we try and throw the bank at Taylor from miss st for a year or two

The rumor is a portal addition for 1 year > Wade and two from this current group transfer out.

That dude will be in South Beach this time next year. No way we can compete with whatever that number ends up being.

The Cal guy probably same situation. Maybe we could find someone in that next tier.

We almost got Mendoza and would have probably came if we didn’t feel good about Stockton. We got JT Daniel’s back in the day. Beck was paid 4-5 million. IDK. I think if Kirby wants Taylor he’ll get him. The challenge is going to be separating his loyalty from these guys. I hope he doesn’t pull a Dabo because that QB situation at ClemPson might be the worst in the nation.

I worry about that too. Pugs sticking around for this long is the type of shite Kirby loves to reward.

I'm not sold that Pugs is some trash QB but based on what we have seen in the field from him, Taylor and the Cal guy would be huge upgrades in terms of QB talent.

Would they fit the culture and system and all that jazz idk. The taylor boy seems to be the type where you build the offense around them though

Didn't know where to put this - according to Rusty manzel , a walk-on WR Will Taylor (#47) is supposed to be the real deal. Anyone heard of this?

Is #47 turning into the official walk on white boy overachiever? I'm for it

He’s listed as a Senior on the roster. I don’t recall seeing him in game action the last two weeks.

I remember seeing him at flanker on one possession and thinking did someone forget to take the jersey off the special teams jersey. #47 struck me as odd for a wide receiver and they kid wasn’t big enough size wide for TE so I was like who is that guy.
