Phelps has no business in the leadoff spot he has been a liability there because he lacks plate discipline when it matters

Overall pathetic performance by this team. Phelps set the table by swing at the first pitch of the game and letting the kid settlle in.

Only saving grace is we have only used two pitchers for two games so while not ideal it’s better than nothing

that one really feels like a missed opportunity to put the clamps on this tournament.
i don't know that we are winning 3 straight, but the pitching staff is at least set up nicely. oklahoma didn't seem that scary, we just couldnt hit.
