Texas. An opportunity to make Texas fans hate Georgia even more and be the chain around their neck since joining the SEC

What the hell happened to our bats. Thought maybe Saturday was just pitching, but being cold against a 0-2 freshman is a problem. Thank God for Kenny.

Just god awful at bats. I can’t really recall the last time I saw a lineup go ice cold against 92 mph fastballs. Somebody dealing at 96+ consistently, yeah. But we were behind 92. Just missing average pitches with minimal movement.

Tough spot because you don't want Tre to get in his head more but at the same time now we are looking at our season on the line.

I would swap Kenny and Tre in the lineup and hope Tre doesn't sulk and instead uses it as motivation

Gotta move Tre. And this is where Henry Allen being hurt kills us; I’d move Tre to 2B and Shaggy to 3B, put Allen back in LF and bench Wynn. But we can’t sub Wynn so we hve to live with the dance card we brought. Idk if 24 hours is enough time for these guys to get right but at this point we will be lucky to survive to the finals, no idea how we would make it through the finals if we got there

You think Shaggy gets another run at DH or do they see what Arcamone can give them? Shaggy been struggling at the plate too.

Do we have a good bullpen? Because in theory we're in good position do a bullpen game where no pitcher throws to the same batter twice. I have come around to the idea of bullpen games and think that they work good.

I feel ALL the big pop hitters are sturggling. Luco, Kawa, Branch, swing plane look flatter and are driving balls. The upper cut swing we wiffed on last night badly, We HAVE to move runners around the bases better to manufacture runs. Trust me, I know everyone loves the long ball but I also like getting to pitchers with line drives to both sides of the field.

Just my $0.02 worth.

I think we have to. He's definitely been in a funk lately but he was our Saturday starter all season for a reason. With the season on the line would you rather throw a bullpen game? I'd start Vigue with the shortest leash imagineable. The great thing is that we've only used 2 pitchers total through 2 games so we've got a full arsenal of arms to turn to. The bad thing is that we have to win 3 games in a row. Let's say BEST case scenario we go Vigue for 5/6 innings and Scott for 3/4 innings and win. We're still going to have to play OU on Wednesday using only pen arms. If we can manage to win that one, when we play OU again on Thursday MAYBE Volchko could give us a couple? Idk, no idea. This is why winning those first 2 games is so friggin huge. Can't believe how crappy we looked yesterday.

what truly blows my mind is how seemingly ordinary their pitcher's stuff was. We've seen guys all year throw 98-100 that we've had success against. We've seen guys with gigantic sweeping curves. We've faced giant lefties that look like randy johnson. Then here is a freshman right hander that throws a flat 93-94 fastball with zero movement that's straight as an arrow and we can't hit for shite.

Winning three in a row on this side of the bracket is a daunting task. I am a little biased in thinking that Mercurius is a future star and that’s why we were quiet at the plate last night. Hopefully the bats get hot for a few days

I havne't seen, but i don't believe cozart has thrown for them yet so we'll 100% see him. He is probably (stop me if you've heard this in the last 2 weeks) one of the best pitchers in america. Valincius, Bauer, Volantis...we sure keep getting the shite end of the stick facing elite pitchers.

I do NOT like the way this sets up. TX will have something to prove after their screw ups during the first match up and our bats haven't gotten off the plane yet.

That kid last night wasn’t elite. So frustrating….

Did we all of a sudden start popping up 92mph fastballs? Either he's good or we were betting on Oklahoma.

I think the wild strike zone(for both teams) and the sun got into our heads.... Difference in us and our was where the balls were hit, anything far left was a disaster while the shadow hung down third. Late in the game before we snapped out of it. Thank heavens for the solo hrs but late, I would have happily taken a couple of doubles and a single ...
