What's the deal with Washington vs Gilbert?

I figured Gilbert was our top priority for TE, but maybe he's leaning towards another school?

We would prefer to take 2/3 out of Gilbert, Washington, Theo Johnson.

Many think we'll take 2 TE no matter what, but with Cam Large being the 4th guy up, I frankly think we should pass on him unless we miss on all 3 of the first group.

Recruiting both extremely hard. Would be happy with either and ecstatic with both.

Looks like Arian Smith is going to be there as well, fresh off his gold medal in the 4x100 at the PanAm games with Bulldog Matthew Boling on the squad.

Nah, haven't you heard? It's going to be a bloodbath for us in Jacksonville this year.

A bunch of high schoolers on Twitter have told me 1,000,000 times that Dan "Asperger's" Mullen is going to slaughter UGA using the power of friendship, 3 star recruits, and a QB who couldn't even beat Kentucky.

The list is nuts and will get bigger before the weekend I would assume. I would love to see a couple of those targets pop this weekend like Arian Smith and Van Pran. With Milton early next week. Give us recruiting momentum until the ND game. The visit list for that game is going to be CRAZY. Would love for us to get Gervon Dexter up for the ND game.

Van Pran unlikely to pop per his recent comments, but I'd be happy to be wrong.

Arian Smith seems probable at this point. And presumably Milton Monday.

Surprised but Zach Evans is confirmed for this weekend as late addition. 5 10 stars in total between 2020 and 2021 are confirmed now.

See above. The ? Is a failed emoji check mark per the now at the bottom... I just wasn't doing the work to fix them all...

I will wait until tomorrow to post a theoretically final visitor list.

A&M 247 guys are reporting Chad Lindberg committed to us yesterday. 6'6.5" 327# OT from League City.

Weekends like this make me miss the sheer insanity of Dawgnight when I’d have like 6 different message boards and chats open as we tried to track the insanity of Theus vs Jenkins and Wilder-Crowel and then that 2015 iteration that was just the worst organized event ever with more recruits than anyone could talk to

One year I was able to attend dawgnight and the only thing I really remember from it was watching ace sanders show out and look really really good. We still never offered, and of course he had a breakout game against us in '12.

It was such a fun thing to look forward to in the middle of the Summer but looking back now with Kirby running the show it really demonstrates just how Richt was behind the times and in over his head with regard to recruiting. It was a great spectacle for fans and I’m sure the players but we lost out on guys like Trevor Lawrence because of the sheer enormity of the different guys from multiple classes vying for attention from cosches
