We've definitely come a long way. I've always said, a 5* OL can make a 3* QB/RB play better than their rating, and likewise a 3* OL can drag a 5* skill player down to their level.

Thought they had Braun. Really wanted him. More so than RB Bowman who went to Clemson. Kirby & Pittman making them doubt Mullen & his staff. They regretting Mullen’s trolling Kirby cause Kirby going into Fla & taking what he wants.

Posting someone else thoughts...but it’s a catch 22 for Dan. I am pretty sure by this time he can see what is going on but the top 200 prospects are committing elsewhere. He needs more talent and he can’t just say no to a recruit that can help his team. He is praying this year is another 10-2 season so he can sell his coaching acumen. The reality is they could go 9-3 or 8-4 while NFL talent continues to exit the program. The O-line is a year or two away and the DL has not been restocked. It’s a critical year and I can see Grantham leaving when he sees what he has to work with next year. Bad combination of breaking in a new DC with a thin DL in 2020.

Do we know if it's a scholarship vs PWO offer? I'd guess scholly just due to being one of the more highly rated kickers but just curious.

I've heard scholly, but he did beat out 163 other kickers so i'd say he earned it
