I've seen two posts on another dawg board in the last day or so that says Evans is still going to be a Dawg. One said he read it from some recruiting site type's tweet. I dunno.

I would just as sson stand pat this year at RB and go for two next year.

Just to name a few. I like them all, and we probably wouldn't have to hold our breath that thy might get kicked out of school.

I think it’s unlikely, but at the same time it’s also a possible logical explanation why Edwards hasn’t committed to us yet.
I’m pretty sure Edwards has wanted to come here for a long time. You would think if Kirby told him the spot is back open he’d pull the trigger instantly.
So maybe Kirby hasn’t told him the spot is open? And maybe that’s because it’s still Evans’ spot, but Kirby has Evans on some kind of teaching humble pie probation thing?

I seriously doubt that. What possible motive would Kirby have? “I want you to come here but I’m going to teach you a lesson by not allowing you to come for a bit.” That really doesn’t make sense to keep a spot open but not open on the “Hopes” that he comes.

It only makes sense to me if Evans had to do more to qualify academically. It's probably unlikely but maybe he just had to retake the ACT and score better.

I can’t believe Coley would stick around at all after getting demoted and his OC title stripped, and I don’t blame him. Even if he makes it to next season no way he sticks around after that.
