If I missed this on the board my apologies - I saw where we offered Ennis Rakestraw (no mention of what cycle he is in) at CB. Any word on this character?

Looks like Avantee Williams is the highest rated recruit available. 4 star, #2 rated safety, out of Florida. Any idea when he commits or if we have a shot?

In a SI article, he was quoted as say he like UGA, and likes the way we play defense. Whether that means anything at all is anyone's guess. I'd love to get McKinnley Jackson, but don't know if there's a legitimate chance at that.

We signed Cine in 2019 and have Burns for 2020. We might be losing our 2018 safety signee in Reese.
Unless the plan is to rely on Chris Smith, I think another safety is a need for us.

We're not pursuing him from what I've read. He has stated he likes us but I believe he's likely headed to UF.

I actually hope we would take Avantae Williams because in a couple years we could be quite thin at safety, or relying on some Freshmen.

Lewis Cine looks to be an exceptional talent. He started most of the game, and Reese seemed to come in only during short-yardage situations.

I agree. With Cine at safety, Reese would have been the option for dime against LSU.

Hes probably behind Webb, Wilson, and Stevenson. Not likely to see time at nickel.
But... hes slated to replace lecounte in 2021. If he transfers, hes likely to have to sit out a year (so why not be the man at UGA).
