Any chance at all that Edwards ends up feeling he needs to develop for one more year before entering the NBA? I know wishful thinking but its not like his star will shine any less, it would probably shine even more. He could cement a legacy like no other here since Wilkins. Its not football so a much lower probability of a major career ending injury being an excuse. I know wishful thinking on my part but I sure would like to see the Dawgs get back to the sweet 16 at least next year and they may be good enough to do that if they stay together one more season.

no. He's probably not even attending any of his classes this semester

It would if he came back and got injured.. he’s a top 3 lock right now. Might as well develop at the highest level.

I'm guessing the same thing. Then why even go the NCAA route? LeBron didn't. He went straight to the pros out of HS. Edwards seems like he could be an all-time great ambassador for UGA. Times have changed...

No chance he comes back, imo. It would be totally against the advice of anyone with influence over him. Zion said he almost returned, so I guess it's possible but very unlikely.

Didn't the NBA end that? You have to be one year removed from HS to enter the draft, I thought.

Yeah you can’t go straight from HS to the NBA now.

This is also a very weak draft class.

Would be a horrendous decision by Edwards to come back.

Should have been And 1 on the Hammonds bucket there to tie it up at 92.

7 minutes left in the first half and it's, uh, not getting any better.

I'm actually impressed with our awfulness. Not many teams can do what we're doing right now.

I’m absolutely disgusted with that basketball team. UGA and UNC have to be the most disappointing teams in recent history with all the talent those teams have this year. Hate to say it, if Fox was here, we would be top 4-5 in the SEC this year.

We would have Hagans and not AE. Don't think that's enough to really change much. We have like 9 freshmen. Your expectations are just too high.

Teams loaded with freshmen struggle to shoot because the 3pt line is deeper. Hell, look at Duke last year. They had amazing talent but their inconsistent shooting was their undoing.

If you can't shoot threes, you can't win, no matter what else you do well.

Amazing how this team caves when the other team starts to care. It's just a total collapse once the opponent decides to get serious.
